Installation
1. Choose the shape and size of your Waterproof Shade Sail based on your available poles or hardware options and the area you want to shade.
2. Use the adjustable turnbuckles or cable wires to make the shade sail taut. (For distances more than 1 foot between the shade sail and the Pad Eye, use cable wires to extend the connection.)
3. Ensure that each corner is in a high-low position to allow water to run off and prevent pooling.
- We recommend getting our hardware kits fro the best performance and appearance.
Waterproof
The fabric of the Waterproof Shade Sail has been treated with both waterproof coating and UV inhibitor, which make it suitable for blocking rain and sun.
During the installation, it is important to tilt the shade sail in a low-high position to prevent water from pooling on the surface.
Curved Edges
- We make our shade sails with slightly curved edges to keep them looking tight and prevent sagging in the middle. Let us know if you prefer straight edges instead.
(We also make customized order for straight edges.)
Stainless Steel D-Ring
- 314 stainless steel D-rings are attached to each corner for easy installation.
- We also reinforced each corner with extra stitching to maximize the strength and ensure long-lasting durability.
Reinforced Edge
- We reinforced all edges with heavy-duty double-layered stitching to prevent fraying and maintain their shape for longer.
UV Blocking
- The Waterproof Shade Sail is coated with both UV inhibitors and waterproof coating, providing excellent protection against up to 95% of harmful UV rays and keeping you dry during rainy days.

The canopy color looks just like the picture online. Very pretty light creamy yellow color. Its not thick. But it does provide relief from the sun and adds a nice touch to our back patio.

Not a strong and sunny yellow as pictured. More like ugly school bus yellow. I like the material better than others that are woven tarps. Beware, this is two pieces of fabric sewn together causing a visible seam through the middle. The price was right. I’ll keep it but would not buy again.

The material seems of good quality and should endure the elements well. The rings are well secured and should hold up well. Its great for a backyard, to hook up between fence and house to create a shaded area.

The shade sails exactly what it's described. I was impressed with the quality it's thicker than I expected it's not cheap at all the hardware is great it's perfect exceeded my expectations

I just bought my fourth one to complete the set. The shade sail is well-made and reliable. If you install it with a small curve as the instructions recommend, the rain may lightly pool on it and then pours off, and the cycle repeats if the rain continues. You will hear the rain pouring off after pooling. If pooled water sits, the sail may get damaged because the puddle will cause the sail to stretch downward.

Nice Quality and price and will be absolutely ADORABLE once I purchase poles to hang them from. Do yourself a favor and don’t get the cart before the horse. Metal poles are expensive and lumber isn’t far behind. Also, make sure you measure the space(s) you wish to hang them in. Lastly, do normal late night purchases on Ambien. Carry on.
