Ever been to ski towns and noticed all of the little spikey things on the roofs? Those prevent deep snow from accumulating as a slab, which eventually falls off en masse, which can damage property and injure people.I live in a western mountainous state and about 2 or 3 times a year get enough snow building up on my deck roof, that I get a mini-avalanche when it breaks loose. These snow guards will prevent that from happening. They're burly, have multiple installation methods, and look like the ones I've seen in ski towns. We haven't had a big snow since I installed these, but I'm confident they'll do the trick.
