This product is just like every other brand. I would not say it’s any better than what I have used in the past. It is not making my project go any faster.

This wallpaper remover spray in the gel formula was amazing. We had been dreading taking down some super old wallpaper at our place but once the wallpaper was scored and the gel spray applied, it came off with very little scraping. One large room only took us a couple of hours. Worked wonderfully.

It worked great on the thick wallpaper and we bought another bottle to use on the leftover adhesive. If you let it sit for just a couple minutes then use a scraper while it's still wet it peels off like butter!

Actually using this stuff was revelatory! Finally got around to finishing a long abandoned wallpaper stripping and repaint job- the old paste would simply not come off, and I got busy with other things. This stuff just about wipes on/wipes off with a little encouragement from a Scotchbrite sponge and a good rinse. I'll use it again!

I purchased small pump size from hardware store and found it to be exactly what I needed. I purchased the refill size as it was cheaper than what was in hardware store and excited how good this product works. If you have stripped wallpaper it is a NIGHTMARE. This stuff works great.

This stuff works! I have been using a steamer to remove 30 year old textured wallpaper from my condo and it was working but it was sloooooow! This stuff was recommended to me from someone who used it to remove border on their walls so I thought I'd give it a try. Below is my experience and some tips for anyone else purchasing this product with similar wallpaper removal needs. Hope this is helpful...Pros: Low odor, non-runny (stays put on walls), spray-able (using an ordinary household spray bottle), removes wallpaper and paste (see details in below)Cons: Says it covers ~300 sq. ft. but in reality it did about half for me, messyWhat I found made my experience easier...keep in mind this wallpaper has been up for about 30 years and it's textured wallpaper which means it's really thick. For starters, I would use a scraper and remove the "textured" surface of the wallpaper which leaves behind the thinner backing paper which is pasted to the wall.I would then soak the paper with the Piranha Gel solution using a spray bottle. I found that spraying a heavy coat of this stuff works best - probably why I wasn't able to get the sq. ft. coverage they claim. I would spray one wallpaper strip at a time and let it let it soak for the 15 minutes as suggested by the manufacturer. If at any point any areas appeared to dry up I would respray them to ensure it stayed wet. While that was soaking I would remove the "textured" surface from the next row.Using a standard scraper I removed the saturated paper from the wall. Once all paper was removed there was paste still left on the wall. I would respray the wall and then also spray the next strip of "texture-less" paper with the Gel.Using the same scraper I would remove the left over paste from the paperless portion of the wall then remove the next saturated row of paper. On the bare wall I would wash the wall with a hot water/bleach solution using a scrubby sponge to remove any left over residue. I'd then wipe down the entire wall with a damp towel using the water/bleach solution.I'd repeat the steps above moving further down the wall until finished. This method worked for me given my situation. I've ordered 3 more bottles of this stuff since the room I'm working in is very large. I will say that while the steamer is much cleaner, it does take a lot longer. Using the Gel is quicker but the process is messy - the paper coming off the wall is sticky plus the paste that has to be removed after the paper is removed is a goopy, sticky, mess. Definitely need drop cloths for the Gel method.

This product is amazing! I have wallpaper on 90 year-old plaster -- what took me hours to strip with other products now takes minutes. I will never use anything else again. And, it couldn't be easier to use. Apply the gel with a paint roller and the paper just peels off. I LOVE it!

I followed the directions on the back label and not sure how anyone would give this product 5 stars. It does not get absorbed by the wallpaper even after scoring and therefor does nothing to help peel it. It's also pretty terrible at dissolving the glue once you rip the paper layer off. Don't waste your money
