Your cart is empty. You work too hard to get great recordings to trust your sound to anything but the RODE SMR shockmount. The SMR employs Rycote's double-Lyre suspension system to absorb and diffuse the vibrations that come from issues such as bumping into the mic stand in the vocal booth, thumps on the table when you're podcasting, or floor vibrations from people stomping around in the apartment next door. And with a clamping system that has a larger surface area, you won't have to over-tighten the locking thread and end the life of your shockmount too soon. RODE's SMR shockmount also comes with a high-quality removable metal pop filter and a base nut, making your new microphone setup complete.

If you have a Rode mic then this is perfect. My old shock mount was wearing out an I replaced it with this. Great sturdy product with ease of use!

RODEのマイクは重いので、固定に苦労することもあり使用頻度は低いのですが、見た目のかっこよさにテンションが上がります。

I bought this primarily for the special pop filter that was supposed to come with it. The pop filter was supposed to be specially designed to directionalize the air downwards and away, i.e. the one in the picture. The one that came with this mount is just a standard metal filter that doesn’t do much of anything. I’ve had to attach my old filter on top of this one to get any noticeable effect. The mount is ok, but I haven’t noticed any difference performance wise to the mount that comes with the Rode NT1. I feel like I was mislead by the listings picture.

Very durable product. Is compatible with the Rode NT-USB mic, and I also use it with the Rode PSA 1 arm. While those products are compatible, it’s difficult to reach the knobs on the mic because the shock mount wasn’t originally designed with the NT-USB in mind. So while I have trouble reach the mic, the shock mount itself is still great quality, I have my mic mounted upside down and the SMR handles the weight perfectly.

I use the SMR with a Rode NT USB, not that I wanted to use a $70 mount on a $170 microphone, but because I needed a shockmount and I plan to get an NT1 in the next few months. The biggest PRO is that adding the SMR (compared to no shockmount before) dropped my noisefloor by approximately -5db. Meaning, all other settings being equal, it used to flutter around -54/-55 now it flutters around -60/-61.The only real CON is that access to the "mix" knob is difficult, but not impossible to reach (to adjust percent of computer vs direct monitor).

Works as claimed. Sturdy. Can handle heavy mics like tube based and carbon mics.Tad expensive.

Even though I have my mic on a boom arm I was still getting a low "thump thump" noise when I was typing or doing anything that involved touching my desk. This shock mount completely eliminated the "thump thump."I have a and it fits perfectly in this mount.I contacted Rode support with a question when I was setting it up and they were absolutely amazing in the support they provided. I can't say enough good things about this mount and the support I received from Rode.

This thing is awesome. Fits my Rode NT USB mic perfectly. It does make one of the mixer knobs a little difficult to change but i don't use the knobs so had no effect on me. The shock mount feels really sturdy and solid. The pop shield works really well. Try blowing air until the front and see if you notice any air coming out. Definitely gets rid of the plosive noises. Very expensive compared to other shock mount/pop shield combos but well worth it.

I'm using this with a Rode NT-USB mic, which has mix and headphone volume knobs, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. With this mount, the headphone volume knob is accessible and the headphone jack isn't blocked, but the mix knob is pretty effectively hidden behind the inner ring of the mount. You can still adjust it, but it takes a bit of effort and its annoying when you cant see the white mark on the knob. However, it is much better than Rode's SM6 shock mount (for the NT-USB microphone), since that mount partially blocks both knobs, but also makes using the 3.5mm headphone jack impossible unless you have a low-profile right angle connector. The pop screen is effective and has a cool look. The entire mount is light, but the outer ring is a stiff reinforced plastic so it does the job effectively.

Use this with a first generation Rode NT-1. Extremely well built and attractive design. The rycote lyre system is excellent and makes for a compact yet effective package. Very happy with this product. It is more expensive that other systems on the market but it seeks to be worth it when you feel the quality of the components.
