I purchased eight of these rods for my new house.My huge issue / disappointment with them is I cannot wrap my curtains around the edges to create a blackout effect. Grommet of a 1.6 dimension (which is standard on curtains) do not fit around the sides of the rods. There are gaps in all the curtains and it defeats the purpose of buying these double curtain rods!!

I usually layer curtains in the winter and find double curtain rods more practical than multiple rods on each window.I found these to be well made and stylish,very pleased

Hung three velvet curtains and shears. For this purpose the rod needs to be bulkier. Very thin and little support mounts to the wall. Needs to be mounted on studs for sure.

Was using for a slider and the rods just didn’t feel estheticly speaking substantial enough for a sliding door it looked to dainty in my personal opinion... so they went back

My sheers on the inner rod are great....but the blackout curtains on the outer rod will not wrap-around because they have stainless steel gommets and cannot slide around the rod.

One of the parts that helped hold one of the poles in place was missing. I didn't realize it until almost everything was up and mounted so basically the pole that holds the sheer curtain may fall down. I'm not opening and closing those sheer curtains now because it may cause the curtain to fall down.
