Everything else still works (fan, heating element, but it's not pumping any fluid. I took the cover off and the pump isn't producing a suction. I called the Rockville and they tried to sell me what they said was the fluid pump for this model but it looked nothing like what was in mine. Yes, my fault for not getting the Amazon Warranty. I ended up buying the smaller one (700) and it works well (so far...haha) but I was smart this time and got the warranty.PS. I even followed the manual instructions for cleaning between gigs, because I knew it would be sitting for a couple of months between each of the gigs.

Larger venues it's great. The wired remote is kind of useless, but the wireless fob is where it's at. Just a small touch of the manual button sends almost too much haze, and WAY too much for small places with low ceilings. The attached pic is a medium sized venue with about 100 people - great for that and larger. You'll want to run a fan to distribute it.

Straight out of the box, it's a huge disappointment, as this is a replacement for the first one I purchased did not work as well. The display and the fan come on, but the pump is not working, This will be my final purchase, as I'm looking to find a better haze machine with DMX f through another Company.

Brings my light show to a whole new level! Especially the derbys and the lasers look fantastic through haze. A couple of key learnings I found and didn't find enough about in others' reviews:1) You need to think about smoke detectors. If the venue only has sprinklers and no smoke detectors you'll probably be fine, because sprinklers only trigger from heat. But if the venue has particle detecting smoke detectors this will very likely set them off (it did when I ran it at my house, for example).2) I wasn't sure whether to get the 700 or the 1000 and ultimately went for the 1000 because the 700 didn't have returns, and the 1000 was only slightly more expensive. My venue is a church gym, which is slightly larger than a basketball court in size, and has a tall roof. The 1000 can fill it with haze, but I find that I need to run it from different points around the gym in order to get good even coverage. In other words, the 1000, if anything, is not enough. So if you have a venue of that size, don't go with the 700, or get two 700's.

This is my first Hazer after having used cheaper smoke machines in the past.its a sturdy unit, has pretty easy to use controls (although i do sometimes have difficulty with the remote, i do not need it for my use case as the wired control is perfect for me) and makes a beatiful haze that make my lighting setup really shine. a must have for lasers!

We purchased this product for a film and it was amazing! It works almost as well as some giant professional machines and is an excellent price (much cheaper than rental places were quoting us). It uses little fluid for a lot of haze and looked great on camera, also the thing is nearly indestructible. 10/10!
