These beans roasted very consistent and I am very pleasantly surprised with them. The roasting profile is as noted in the picture. The coffee cupped with a crisp acidity; stone fruit with slight berry. I am actually roasting another batch today. If you like Supremo, I think you will like the way these beans roast - I do.

I roasted about a cup of green beans on a medium size pan on my electric cooktop. I am not an expert in coffee roasting, so I just continuously stirred the coffee beans for about 15 minutes on about medium-high until they became brown as shown in my picture. The beans were non-uniform in size, so they did not make cracking sounds at the same time. I heard some cracking during the entire duration of roasting. Some of the beans had some kind of thin husk that peeled off during the roasting. I cooled down my roasted beans on a plate overnight, then ground them, and brewed my coffee. I was somewhat concerned that my roasted beans did not look uniformly roasted. Nevertheless, the ground coffee smelled so delicious! The brewed coffee was tasty too. It had a rich aroma and a fruity, lightly acidic, and deep coffee flavor. Great experience with using green coffee beans for making my daily coffee!

I recently tried this coffee and was truly impressed with the bold and flavorful taste it had to offer. The single origin beans from Tanzania provided a unique and rich experience with each sip. The unroasted beans allowed me to customize the roast level to my preference, resulting in a perfectly tailored cup of coffee. I highly recommend giving these beans a try for a premium specialty coffee experience.

These Tanzania Peaberry Kilimanjaro green coffee beans produced the best coffee that I've ever tasted after roasting. It has a fabulous aroma, a rich flavor that's nutty, caramelly, and smooth with just the right amount of acidity for my taste. I bought an idiot proof coffee roaster and set it on medium. The roaster did all the work roasting, removing the chaff cleanly, and cooling the beans. Then I packed the cooled beans in vented bags and allowed them to degas for six days before grinding and brewing. That took patience, but it was well worth the wait because this coffee is wonderful! Now that I've tried home roasting, I'm sticking to buying green coffee beans and doing it myself from now on.About the green beans themselves: The beans are uniformly green in color and similar in size and shape. I didn't see any brown, shriveled, or misshapen beans in the bag, and the texture was firm. The bag the beans come in isn't resealable though, so you'll need to put the ones you don't roast right away in an airtight container or vacuum seal them to keep them fresh till you roast them. I'm thoroughly enjoying the coffee these green Tanzania Peaberry Kilimanjaro beans produces and I think you'll be delighted with it too!

I roasted this to a light city roast in my home roaster. I didn't want to mute the flavors by going too dark on peaberries. It took about 12 minutes, including cooling for 4 minutes. The coffee wasn't exactly to my tastes after a 3.5 minute brew time in my aeropress (too much acidity), but it mellowed out the next day after adjusting my brew time to 4 minutes. It has the slightest hint of ashtray, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but it's just barely there. Still way better than anything you'll get in a coffee shop.
