This line casts nicely out of the box, and worked well for me for a few months. But as is typical with every product I've ever used from Far Bank Enterprises (rods, reels, line, waders, boots and more from Redington, Rio and Sage), the durability just isn't there. The line started cracking on me in just a matter of months, way too early for an expensive line. If you're a serious fisherman and you put a lot of days on the water, do yourself a favor and stay away from Far Bank products.

I love this fly line and find it a joy to cast on my 5 weight. There seems to be little to no memory in the line without the need to do more than an occasional stretch. I did have the welded loop split way sooner than I would have expected in a line this pricey, but Rio warrantied the line with very little hassle. The replacement has held up like a champ this year.
