I liked that the owner took the time to discuss with me what I am looking for out of this product? I had bodyboarded e year before and loved it. Except, it felt like my Ribs where being expanded. I had serious pain for about 6 weeks. Hard to sleep ect. We spoke and decided on the shorty . Coincidence or not, the next season I did more bodyboarding then the year before... No rib pain. So draw your conclusions from that. Maybe I just needed a little bit of protection, whatever it helped me... He helped me! Other sellers would not be interested in helping me. Try this company, you won't be disappointed!👍🏻

I got this Ribby because I love surfing, but my sternum gets so sore. I surfed for 6 days straight with no chest soreness because of the Ribby top. The craftsmanship is quality, and the shirt is comfortable. I first ordered a size too small, and customer service was awesome in getting me the size I needed.I’m 5’4, wear a size S t-shirt, wear a size M long-sleeve women’s Ribby.

I was pretty blown away by the customer service like many others have said — Tony goes way above and beyond to make sure you’re happy and get what you need on time. The rash guard itself is sturdily constructed and I can tell there was a lot of care put into the design and the chosen materials. I took this on a surf trip to Maui a couple of weeks ago and noticed a significant decrease in chest soreness between sessions. Really really happy with this purchase and can’t believe someone didn’t think of it sooner.

I purchased the Ribby padded rash guard for my hubs- he’s a huge surfer and tired of having a bruised and scratched rib cage after a great day in the surf. He’s in love; just wore it in huge Costa Rican surf - five stars!! Best rash guard ever! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought this for my partner because he was experiencing some rib pain after continuous surfing. While the padding on the stomach is advertised to be 5mm, it doesn’t feel like there’s nearly enough cushion in there. When comparing it to a ripcurl 5mm flashbomb I would say it is closer to 2mm of padding. I think this product can be made with a different material that does not make it impossible to get off. The material was stuck to his arms and I had to pull it off him.

Mine just arrived earlier than expected (Thank you), and I’m stoked about the construction and fit. Seems well made. Also, I have a long torso and the neoprene padding reaches low enough to protect the lowest point of my ribs, which is why I went hunting for a solution and found the Ribby. Great customer service from Tony to help me find the best fit. XL was right for me. Will update after a few sessions.

These are great for women too!!! I desperately wanted to find something like this as I only surf a few times a year and my ribs take a beating. I reached out to Tony with Ribbly and he thought an XS or S would work. I’m 5’9, 140 lbs and a 34B and the small worked great for me! I generally wear a S/M in women’s tops, it just varies by brand/material. The XS was a bit tighter around the neck and waist And while a rash guard should be tight, it felt too tight for me.Given the material of the shirt there is a lot of stretch so I have a feeling you can make one of these work for you too if you are looking for something to protect your chest/ribs a little without a ton of padding. Nice product!!!!
