I bought these for my fixie. When it came the box was missing parts and the parts that came looked used. I requested a replacement and when that came it was new but the calipers where both for the front tire with a long attachment bolt that was non adjustable. The parts were cheaply made but I wanted to give it a chance. I installed the front brake but it did not work properly. Install was easy but the pads did not stop the bike.

This item is listed for a "road bike " all the pictures show full size bikes. These are NOT full size brakes. To the seller's credit, there is an image including measurements so be sure to check that you are working on a small kids bike that these small brakes might fit.

Came with the paint chipped off on a sizeable section of one of the brakes. They work fine but feel cheap and the pads that came with it don't work on my bike. Cable is cheap, as was expected. I would probably recommend spending a little more for higher quality but these do the trick in a financial pinch, (which I am in lol)

Product comes as described and is easy to put together. However, the overall quality is fairly average - the metal is low quality and as a result some of the threads are not properly aligned making it difficult to attach nuts.

Several items make these brakes very suspect. They include: (1) The piss poor English used in the product description. I know it’s a Chinese product, but they need to get someone who can clearly write English to describe their product ACCURATELY. (2) These are supposed to be both front & rear brakes (as they are described in the product description), but… the one brake with the longest mounting shaft is intended as the front brake. On my bike the shaft came up a little short. This meant that I couldn’t use one washer and one lock nut to secure it to the bike frame – the mounting shaft was not long enough. For the rear brake, the shaft was too long, resulting in not being able to tighten it to the frame of the bike. I had to add 2 large spacers that I had to get the rear brake to mount adequately. (3) I got both brakes to function to stop the bike, but there’s too much side-to-side free play of the brakes. After using the brakes, they won’t hold their position centered over the wheel. One side shifted very close to the rim, while the other side moved away from the rim. Overall, very low end quality on these brakes and very poor product description. If you have about twice as much money to spend, it’s better to get higher end, reliable brakes.
