This worked to retrofit a drawer into a bread keeper. It was definitely not easy to cut with the tools I had. I used an exacting knife as well as a heavier box cutter to score. I had to go over it many times, and still could not snap it cleanly off.

The product is overall OKAY... I am handy and was able to make it work for my kitchen but I know not everyone would be able to as easily or have the tools to do so.The plastic of this cover was NOT square at all. Truth is I should have sent it back but I was ready to install this and have the bread drawer project done. Had to take a small amount of material off both side just to get the cover square. Cutting was easy with a fine tooth table saw blade. I realize tho that most people may not have a $50 table saw blade on hand for this job. (There are other ways to cut it down this was my method to keep it straight and clean cut).Once installed its been perfectly fine and serves its purpose.

No instructions how to cut the plastic. Scoring with a tile knife then snapping it resulted in a nasty edge that had to be filed smooth. There should be a better way to trim to fit

Great insert, but be prepared to measure and cut it to your specific drawer size. I missed that in the description. It is not a lot of work if you have the proper tools.

As advertised. We installed one of these for our bread drawer in our new kitchen and I thought it would make a great solution to turn another drawer into a dog food bin. Works great, keeps the food fresh. Simply attach the rails, cut the width to match and install. Easy breezy.

I had been searching for an affordable bread box that would fit in one of our drawers without success. This was an ideal solution. It installed easily after we cut it to size. It covers the entire top of the drawer. It is easy to clean. I did spray the rails with a silicone spray once when it felt as if it was dragging. This solved the problem that seemed to appear on a high humidity day.
