So far it’s not working. Nothing came in box except headset. I’ve watched videos and read as much as I can find. Will try again and if it doesn’t work I will be returning this.

I drive a loud sxs (Kawasaki Teryx). Great machine, but loud. We like to use our Baofeng radios while out and about, and sometimes it can be hard to hear the radio. We went out on our first ride with this weekend using this headset, my son and I were able to hear all of the radio traffic with ease and my ears didn't ring at the end of the day because of my loud sxs. Great price point. Volume knob very easy to adjust even with gloves on.

I haven't actually field tested it yet, but I plan to use it for communication when riding my SXS. Plugs right into a Baofeng UV-5R Radio. Fits snugly. Sound is good. PTT button is placed fairly well with the cable clip. Feels more durable than I expected for this price point. It does not have a PTT button on the side of the headset like some do. The connector is also hard wired at the headset side, so if the cable is damaged, it won't be easily replaced, but that's the sacrifice you make for what seems to be a pretty well-built headset for less than $50.

I bush hog fields for hours quite alot. I put this headset on for 3 reasons.1. Noise canceling, tractors are loud and I have no cabin2. So momma can reach me on my GMRS handheld. I can't feel the cell vibrate and share can't hear it.3. I turn on the FM function on my GMRS and listen to 80s music the whole time.Ok, noise canceling is awsome. Momma calls me and I can talk to her though the mouthpiece and she can hear me fine without tuning off the PTO and bringing the tractor to an idle. It's the raido but it's very loud in the headset when you want to some gen-x rocking out. Also this is radio but ehen momma hits me up, it stops the music for me to talk.ONLY gripe. I have a big head and I can't by hats at any normal place. There are a little tight on biggest setting.l but that's NO fault of this headset. Very well built, sound quality is surprisingly good while listeningto FM, it can be alot louder then my typical radio headset made by dewalt.. little tip for farmers, mount your radio beside you on the tractor itself so everything is out of the way. Carrying your radio on your hip with that heavy cord is a little awkward.

Wasn’t sure if these would work with rugged radio r1 but they work great no issues at all just plug and play ending up buy a second pair so both my radios have the option of headphones.
