Pump works fine but the fuel quantity shows empty. Contacted the manufacturer and waiting to hear back from them.

Truck bogged down on interstate, waited 5 min, started back up and would run approximately 500 yards…repeated this until I got to safe parking spot. Googled check engine codes (see pic) and got lucky to run across video of someone with same truck and symptoms…easy to go down a rabbit hole to replace various parts/sensors troubleshooting my specific codes…my fuel pump driver module looked fine (see pic) from visual inspection but replaced anyways…truck runs great now! Almost want to buy spare one since this part is mounted under truck exposed to the elements. Hope this review helps someone else!

Replaced before trying to replace fuel pump. Seems to fix the job but it did make a fuel rail sensor pop up P0191. It was a good price and delivery was fast. It now has spacers to keep the aluminum body away from the metal frame. So ordered one of them also. My Ford F150 5.4L lariat has 305637 miles on it and hoping to keep it running. It is a great truck and gets the jobs I need it for done.

I purchased two of these chinese fuel pumps for a Mercruiser 4.3 , well i tested them first with a 12v power supply and the first one worked for 10 seconds and the second one didn’t even power up, don’t waste your time or money , these are absolute garbage. To make matters even worse Amazon doesn’t refund the shipping and assorted fees, so i’ll be out $20 for taking a chance with this junk !As for the vendor GWA Auto parts , they did try to make it right by offering me to purchase two more pumps and they would issue a refund on the new order but there is no way i would take another chance.Advice for Canadian customers for their so called lifetime warranty , once you’re past the 30 day Amazon return policy , the vendor does not ship outside the US so take this into consideration should you be lucky enough to get a functioning fuel pump.Overall the vendor made an effort to make things right but unfortunately the product is garbage.

My original pump was fine, but the fuel filter housing cracked and at the time I found only one place in the entire world (a seller in the UK, where my EP3 was made) that sold replacement fuel filters intended to retrofit onto the original fuel pump. Buying this whole new pump and filter assembly was more cost effective. Installed relatively easily, knocked off a star because:- the included retaining ring didn't really fit the car so I had to reuse the original one- it'd be nice if there were a new fuel line connection clamp (a plastic doohickey) includedRather than using a specialty tool to remove the retaining ring from the original installation, I found that a small wooden handscrew (old-timey woodworking gadget) gently applied to engage the teeth/notches in the ring worked perfectly. It's been in place for almost two years now, though not a ton of miles, with no issues of note.UPDATE 2024-06: My civic is having a problem with long cranking required to start the car. Once started, it runs fine. Even with the engine warm and a full fuel tank, I experience this problem. Turning the key from Off to Run a few times to prime the fuel pressure a bit helps a lot, suggesting that the fuel check valve in the pump has failed (stuck open) and is letting fuel drain back into the tank when the engine is turned off. I'll see about doing a fuel pressure hold test and if it is dropping quickly, I guess I'll see about getting a replacement under warranty.UPDATE 2024-11-05: The seller responded quickly to my inquiry about a warranty replacement and sent a replacement fairly quickly. As previously noted by many reviewers, the fuel line retaining clip is not included, so I had to find one (in this case, the one listed in the service manual as "white (SANOH)", part # 17711-s84-004 , one of three different fuel line retaining clips for this car) somewhere on the interwebs. I tried ordering one from the Honda Dream Shop web site (the official Honda dealer network online parts portal) but was told they are no longer available. I managed to find a new one here on Amazon sold by a Honda dealer, but they have only a few left. It may well be that a suitable, generic replacement is available, but I didn't want to bother since the genuine OEM one is still available if you look hard, and isn't prohibitively overpriced. Once I had everything I needed and a free afternoon, I did the job, not too hard, though getting the retaining ring to thread on initially while the spring force of the folded up pump assembly resisted was a bit frustrating. Just take your time, persist, and it'll work out. With the warranty replacement in place, my car now starts quickly and reliably on the first crank. Woohoo!

You want to save over half the cost of a garage job?? I found out about this and tried it by myself the first time. Just like many other fuel pumps in pickup trucks -remove or lift the box which is a lot of rust to fight.! I found a better way -I have the box liner -moved the liner a few feet back -measure out the exact location of pump and mark 3 lines inside the steel box -using a bevel grinder, cut the 3 lines, about 8" or more, square bend the flap to the side -your work is right there, handy to see and reach -no fighting with rusted nuts or straps, just the one big nut -vacuum or blow off any dirt before opening cover. You can do the work at any gas level. The only drawback is you will not be flushing your tank. After installing the new pump, turn the ignition to On, do you hear the fuel pump running? check your gas gauge and open up the plug at the engine to check the volume of flow. Bend back the plate in the box, slide back your liner and fasten it down. Start'erup! If the engine chugs or runs rough, bleed air out of the system. Try this if you enjoy beating the $100 an hour mechanic.
