I know you get what you pay for but I would at least expect it to work for a few rounds before problems start. This thing came straight out of the box dead. Not surprised there’s no quality control sticker on the unit itself so they either forgot to check it or they just don’t even bother.Received a replacement unit and this one powers on and all the functions work. Reticle is more clear than I expected and brightness actually seems decent. Aside from the initial dead unit this seems to be a decent optic. It’s a basic holo optic for sub $50.

ordered this to be installed on a new ar I was building for a friend. when arrived there was no instructions for the battery installation, which was no big deal....but the red dot would not turn onyou get what you pay for...try something else
