Wanted a more dedicated stand for our record player and vinyl collection, as we had previously just been using an 8 cube dresser from Ikea. This was easy to assemble and setup, with plenty of storage space for the vinyl albums. Unfortunately I didn't measure correctly and our record player was just an inch or two bigger than the shelf, so now we just use the top shelf for our Google Mini and mesh router module. Paint finish on the metal parts and wood laminate looks great.

The 3-Tier Record Player Stand is great for music lovers with plenty of albums, books and speakers. They will all fit together perfectly. The 3-Tier Record Player Stand emerges as a sanctuary for the melodic treasures of music aficionados. It is a harmonious assembly where albums, literary works, and speakers find their symphony. In my household, melodies course through our veins, a testament to my husband’s legacy as the lead vocalist of a classic rock ensemble that once graced the vibrant stages of Las Vegas before we embraced the sun-kissed shores of Miami as our abode. Our vinyl anthology is nothing short of substantial, a collection further burgeoned by the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, which cast aside many a record to the whims of the roadside—yet, one does not simply forsake an original Abbey Road. This “Record Player Stand with Storage” was a serendipitous find, a beacon amidst the disarray of our cherished classics. Crafted from a robust wood composite, it bears the weight of our turntable and a considerable segment of our collection with grace. The turntable perches atop, while the three tiers beneath cradle a surprising anthology of albums, bestowing upon our records the dignified residence they deserve, and transforming our living space into an orderly homage to timeless tunes. The assembly was a feat easily conquered, even with the playful interference of our trio of younglings. The clarity of the instructions and the inclusion of all necessary tools made for a seamless experience. This piece stands as a testament to functionality and minimal spatial imposition, organizing our ever-expanding collection with ease.I am wholeheartedly enchanted by this record player stand. It melds practicality with aesthetic allure and has instilled a semblance of order within our vinyl labyrinth. For the connoisseur of music whose collection burgeons, I extol the virtues of this stand. It not only showcases your prized albums but also maintains the elegance of your living quarters. Moreover, it serves as a catalyst for engaging dialogues with fellow vinyl enthusiasts who cross our threshold. The stand arrived in a package more compact than anticipated, a delightful surprise. Each wooden component was shielded by corner protectors, safeguarding the most vulnerable junctures of ready-to-assemble furniture from the travails of transit. The contents were intact, complete with a spare of each bolt type—a thoughtful provision.During assembly, a minor quandary presented itself: a discrepancy in the allocation of washers. The instructions remained silent on their application, yet I discerned their necessity in the final stages, lending stability to the wire separators. Another moment of perplexity arose with the laterals’ installation, where the illustrations and the physical components seemed at odds. Nevertheless, intuition guided me to a successful resolution. The stand, once assembled, exudes strength without imposing upon the room’s aesthetics. However, a geometric conundrum arises for those intending to use it as a record player stand. The top metal rack, when flush against a wall, cannot accommodate LP records in their full glory—the corners of their cases impinge upon the wall. Thus, LP enthusiasts must allow a few inches of breathing room for the stand. Despite this, my admiration for the stand remains undiminished, and I foresee its enduring utility in our musical haven. 4.5 stars—a near-perfect score for a stand that harmonizes with the rhythm of our lives.

If I could give this four and a half stars I would. So I'll start with all of the many positives! It's a great little stand with only a couple of minor concerns. The package was smaller than I expected, which was a good thing! There were corner protectors on the wooden pieces, which I appreciated since corners are the parts of RTA furniture that are the most likely to sustain damage. Absolutely nothing was damaged. All of the parts were there, and there was one extra of each type of bolt, which I appreciated. The assembly was really pretty good! I was a little intimidated when I opened the box, but all of the parts were very clearly labelled and the directions referred back to the labeling so it was pretty simple. The hardware was sorted into separate packets for each type, which was great! One note for assembly: When opening packet A, I had 12 bolts, and 6 washers. The directions don't show where to use the washers, but if you get the same packaging I recommend that you save the washers for the last step. The directions didn't call for them, but they made a big difference in how rigidly the wire separators fit into their slots. The washers provide much-needed stability there. (Don't do what I did and use them on step 1 then have to go back and disassemble! Learn from my mistake!) There's one other slightly confusing spot in the assembly instructions when installing the laterals - the illustration only shows 6 laterals (three each on top and bottom) but shows 4 bolts going into each rack. I took this to mean that I should use all 8 laterals, and in this case my presumptuousness was rewarded. The assembly really was easy, even with those very minor concerns. All of the parts were there, nothing was damaged, everything went beautifully! And the assembled piece is strong (my 24lb cat has already tested each shelf for structural integrity) but it's still airy and light looking and doesn't overwhelm my small office space. There's a minor but important problem of geometry if you plan to use it for a record player stand. The top metal rack can't hold LP records properly if you place the shelf all the way against the wall. The corners of the LP cases hit the wall before the record rests properly in the cradle. If your collection leans toward 45s you won't be affected by this, but LP fans will need to place this stand a few inches away from the wall to use the storage on the side without the wooden shelves. Even with that concern, I'm a fan of this stand for sure, and will get lots of use out of it.

I'm starting to build up my record collection again and needed a shelf for them. This has worked well for me, not too big, but just right . I also store some of my workout hand weights and resistance bands on one of the metal shelves. I recommend.

My daughter has a cute little record player and needed a stand. I ordered this because it gave a lot of options for record storage, which anyone with a record player knows is necessary. I guess she could put them on the bookshelf, but this is way cooler. It only took about 30 minutes to put together, it seems fair sturdy, and given the fact that she is going to college next year, she will need some way to store her stuff.I think for the price, this storage unit is a good value. It matches a lot of other self-assembled furniture available right now, which is a bonus for people who are mindful of both functionality and aesthetics.Would definitely order again.

Punches above the price point. Offers plenty of space, easy to put together, everything well labeled with good tolerances of the holes etc. Great storage/stand at this price.
