This was a perfect fit. Strong spring tension. Well worth the price and real easy to put in stronger than the old one. Please you don’t have to torque the nuts. Just snug them. To tight and you’ll be replacing it again because it twisted. Just a thought. Yard-man self propelled is what I have.

Very easy to install price was great the manufacturer wanted more for this part than the lawn mower is worth so to find it online for this price was super. FYI I'm a 62-year-old female and remove the old part and install the new part myself piece of cake.

Metal part fits but the cord can only be pulled about 1 foot...Needs at least another foot or 2Do not buy this.

The pull cord on my cub cadet broke again. Repeated use wore the area where the string goes through the housing into a groove which now shreds every new cord I installed. Didn't realize how inexpensive this part was! So much easier to just plop this replacement part in than it is to install a replacement cord. If time is money, then using this part is actually cheaper than replacing just the cord. Very pleased with this purchase.

Didn’t fit my Cab Cadet perfectly but I was able to fix myself. Have used the pull numerous times since install and it works great. Would’ve given 5 stars if it fit perfectly.
