A great product. Compared to the other this is exactly what I needed just because the others are too big. This is exactly what you need for flying paragliders.

I’ve been through several other brands and like the simplicity and comfort of this one. I have some dual radio harnesses, pouch harnesses, and remote mics for different missions, but this is my go-to for in-bounds winter recreation.Fits most ham radios and Moto XPR radios when using slim batteries. I actually bought a couple extra for guests since our local mountain doesn’t have cell service. 10/10 using these with FRS (or whatever you’re using) is the best way to coordinate while resort skiing.

I tried these for some smaller radios a year and a half or so ago and wasn’t thrilled with them. I bought one again for a Motorola DTR700 and I have to say, it’s perfect. Perfect enough I ordered more. It’s compact. Comfortable. As adjustable as needed to hold the DTR700 about as perfectly as I could ask and to properly wear on my 43 inch chest. I really like the diagonal (angled) way the radio is held. It keeps the antenna out of the way, is comfortable, makes it easy to press the PTT button and can be adjusted to ride higher or lower on your chest. It has a small vouch (yes, quite small) in the back. Good for holding some cash or a few cards. A phone won’t fit in there. If you’re looking for a minimalist cross chest holster for an in the smaller side of mid size radio only, this one is quite nice. You can also remove the Velcro radio wraparound strap and just use the radio’s belt clip to secure the radio. If you’re using one of Motorola’s longer/extended length belt clips, it will hold securely. Otherwise, don’t lean over or the radio might skip out if only using the radio’s clip.

Very high quality construction, design and appearance.Sized its internal height down nearly an inch to fit a Dogstra 280C E Collar dog tracing device to allow access to the different buttons while wearing it.By cutting about an inch off the wide Velcro strip and the webbing that lays over it.Delivery was in 2 days (FedEx) vs the quoted 10 … only about 100 mi away.

So my review is mainly for VHF/UHF radio operators out there. Yes a Yaesu FT3D will fit nicely in this holster and any other handheld VHF/UHF radio's from Yaesu, Kenwood, Icom, etc. will fit. My Kenwood TH-72 fits too. If you have a Baofeng or Anytone those fit nicely as well. The Anytone D878UV fits but it's a bulky radio with battery and clip. I found that I have to put the clip behind the sleeve and the radio rides higher and not as nice but it works. The adjustability is honestly good for any small handheld and you can fit small GMRS and similar HTs in the sleeve. It would be cool to see a zipper pocket and a flashlight and/or pen holder like similar harness models for this model. If I'm out doing field ops it's nice to have a pen and small notepad to log 2 meter simplex contacts but not a deal breaker of course. Seems the other models are for much larger, commercial radios so hoping Holsterguy will see this and expand on the small harness with more features.Negavites: Again having a zipper pocket and/or pen/flashlight holder like other models would be a plus. The screen on your radio will obviously be blocked so if you want so keep it in the holster I personally run an external speaker mic for my Yaesu. I clip the mic to the harness strap and that seems ok. There is no dedicated area for clipping such a mic however. Anyway hope that helps. 73.

Working in the woods and on the farm, this holster is perfect! Running a chainsaw, up and down from the tractor, or dragging chains thru the woods this holster keeps your radio right where you need it and out of the way of your work. Great construction and plenty of adjustability to fit multiple radio sizes. Very durable and has great retention when picking stuff up, crawling in tight places or working upside down. Fast delivery too!
