I have found so many uses for this spoon since I bought it a few weeks ago to add to my bar accessories. I am going to order another one to keep in the kitchen. I think it's quite sturdy and looks rather elegant with it's swirl stem design.Especially nice for the length to get into tall bottles without getting the ingredient all over your hand and stirring juice and drinks is perfect for what it is designed to do. The finish is definitely smooth not rough as another reviewer indicated and perhaps they unfortunately received a defective spoon. I think the quality is excellent for the price. Would certainly recommend it...

What can I say? It's does it's job perfectly and is relatively inexpensive. The spoon itself is of a good quality and does not look cheap. If you've never had a bar spoon I definitely recommend getting at least one. It will help you more than you realize because it helps speed things up. The spiral helps you spin the spoon in between your fingers or hands, in case you are wondering what the spiral is for.

It's a stamped and shaped piece of metal, not an elegantly crafted piece of art. Purchased this for home use, and I have found it to be extremely practical. Turning the spoon upside down allows for smooth stirring in delicate glassware, the twist adds visual flair and probably improves stirring properties. It measures, it stirs, and it's long enough to use in your shaker and your tallest glasses. On the whole, it's a sturdy tool that you'll find useful behind the bar and in everyday life too.

This spoon is so cheap and nasty. You can see stress marks in the metal and the finish is rough. I found a much nicer version in Pottery Barn for half the price.

Bought this to stir sugar into my tea (I have tall, slender glass tea mugs). Works well for that, seems fairly heavy duty, not likely to bend, etc. The twist looks nice but is somewhat of a pain to clean.

Not a high quality item, but worth what you pay for it. I don't personally like the twist, but that was all that was available in this spending range (just starting a home bar). That said, should do the job just fine.

This was a bit bigger than I thought it would be (aka longer), but that's an asset if you're using a Boston shaker tall mixing glass, or some obscenely tall glassware. It was heavier than I thought it would be, as well.The make felt somewhat cheap when I used it, but that's not to say it doesn't hold up well. Besides, that's to be expected with a bar spoon.
