1st time boat owner and the engine would start fine to get me on the water, but after running for a bit and stopping to fish, it would leave me unable to start again. Not a desirable outcome. After googling the issue, the starter solenoid was the most common issue, so I ordered this part and replaced the oem solenoid. This one has not had a single issue since.

Replaced solenoid in 98 Evinrude 90. Worked great. A little thinner than original. needed to wrap it so would fit snug in bracket. Would purchase again.Quick ship.

This solenoid diameter is a bit small than the OE and requires modification to enable secure mounting.
