Over the years as both a performing and studio drummer, I've come to appreciate the importance of simplicity in my setup. Gone are the overcomplicated cage systems and erector set looking boom stands. I find that when I'm playing live or the studio clock is running, I want to set up and get playing as quickly and easily as possible. So I've been going back to basics with all of my hardware. Straight stands for everything! Here's another one I'm glad to add to my arsenal. Sturdy double braced legs, smooth set up and collapse, secure tension screws, felts, washer, sleeve, wingnut. Its all here in an affordable ready to go right out of the box stand. Interesting ball socket adjustable feature just below the top of the stand(pictured) gives me more versatility with cymbal positioning. No longer do you need to break the bank for good hardware. This stand will quickly adapt to any existing setup and won't look, or more importantly, feel out of place with some of the higher end hardware you may have. Very impressed and have already gigged with it. This one is going in the hardware case for good!
