These Rainbows run narrower than my old ones, my feet look huge compared to the surface area of the sandal, I don’t like the look as much as my old ones. Also, the sticker they put on the back of each sandal is paper and has tons of glue, so that when you try to peel them off, they tear apart and you can’t get it off without digging into the foam! Why would they put a sticker like that on a sandal like this? Oh wait, made in China now. That explains it. They are very uncomfortable and far too tight around the strap right now, hoping they will be more comfortable once broken in.

Somehow my daughter stole my 8 yr old ones, so I bought another. THESE are the ones to get btw. The thin regular ones, not the newer ‘womens cushiony arch support’ ones. These don’t take long to break in, are super cool true surfer flops and I know you’re not supposed to get them wet for warranty purposes but I did a ton and they’ve always been great. They mold to your feet and last 4ever. I was scared these would be fake but nope, their legit and I’m pretty sure you can’t get them off the Rainbow site anymore, but not sure. Idk if I’d recommend them for ‘extra cushiony’ feet…maybe u can break them in but if your feet are…fat, sorry, u might want to keep the tags on. Btw, I’m a true 6-6 1/2 women’s in these and I sized up to 7 like when I first got my others at the local beach place, not a chain stores.

Look, I grew up in Northern California, and I remember Rainbow Sandles when they were wicked popular. The pair I had prior to ordering these lasted me all of 8 years, excellent quality, super comfortable, ride or die sandles.Well, the old pair finally broke, and the company ignored my requests for the lifetime warranty repair. Oh well, so I promptly ordered a new pair, and while these new ones are nice, they are 100% NOT the same quality as before.My old rainbows were FULL Leather, they took weeks to break in properly and conform to my feet. These pair are a thin strip of leather on top of a bunch of foam and they took 24hrs to break in.What's worse is they cost me JUST AS MUCH as the full leather pair 8 years ago.Am I disappointed? You bet I am.Are they comfortable anyways? Sure.Will I ever be buying rainbow flip flops again. Absolutely not.

I received the double rainbow strap in the darker brown (im not sure the color name) as a christmas gift last year and they hold up really well. I wear them almost every day and have not had a problem. The first couple times wearing them are uncomfortable, but they're new. Its just like every other shoe. You're going to get blisters so dont be surprised. They WILL be tight. My shoe size is 8.5 and i have the XL which is 8.5-9.5 and they're the perfect size. You're gonna think they're too small because they're tight but THEY WILL GET LOOSE. i had to shove my foot in the first few times. But they are a good flip flop. I just purchased the thick strap in sierra brown and hopefully they arent knock offs like some of the reviews have stated.

These shoes came in record time, before the delivery date said they would arrive. They are clearly the real deal, with plenty of arch support and made of genuine leather (I can tell by the smell :D). However, I didn't read the other reviews so I didn't realize a couple of things. For one, they will feel VERY narrow then they arrive. You've GOT to give these shoes time to break in. Don't be like me and wear them to your 5 hour library clerk shift where you're walking around all day... My blisters were so painful I hobbled home to change shoes, even with band-aids on. The leather needs time to break down a little and soften before you can just wear them. It's now been about a week of breaking them in around the house and stuff, and I can tell the leather is getting soft, stretching, and taking the shape of my feet. They feel much less narrow, and they fit just right. They still rub a bit on the side of my foot, but I think after a little more wear, I won't have a problem with that anymore. Overall, they are very comfortable, have a nice earthy color, and look really good with my maxi skirts :) I don't think you'll be disappointed, as long as you give them a little time to break in and soften up!

I've heard from numerous of friends recommending Rainbow sandals because of their endurance and comfort. I needed a pair of enduring flip flops and I am sick of purchasing five, six pairs in one year.I was a bit concerned with the size when I was trying to order it online because the sizing chart is very confusing. I normally wear a size 7.5, however, rainbow offers a 6.5-7.5 as a Normal and a 7.5-8.5 as a Large. I was debating on whether to purchase a narrow stripe or wide stripe pair. After reading through a lot of comments, I decided to order a Large and it proved to be a right decision.The shipping was amazingly fast! I ordered them Friday night and they arrived on Monday morning!! I couldn't wait to open the package and tried them on.The Sierra Brown color is really pretty. It is a light khaki color and the wide strips are really comfortable. However, the shoes a very narrow, so if your feet are kinda flat as mine, it is probably wise to order a men's small size. This pair is also a bit too large as well. I am not sure how I would fit in a Medium, but my 7.5 size feet is a bit small in the sandals. There's about 1.5 inch distance from the top of the shoe and my toes but I think it is not too big of a deal.I am not planning to return them because overall I am happy with my purchase. However, I recommend those people with small feet to order a Big Kid size, I double checked online and a Big Kid's size 6 is approximately Women's size 7.5 and they are probably wider than this pair as well. They are also $10 cheaper as well.Accordingly, I give a 4-star review for the flip flops and I can't wait to break them in and enjoy my summer with them :)
