After researching online for new rain coats, we settled on the Rab Men's Kinetic 2.0. The jackets arrived in a timely manner and in perfect condition. They are extremely light weight and packable. The outer fabric is quiet and has some stretch to it. Breathability is important to us for wearing in South Georgia's heat and humidity and this jacket does not feel hot or clammy. It is wind and rainproof. It is not insulated, so in cooler weather you will need to add a layer underneath for warmth. Size seems to run a little small but ours have a some room for layering. Sleeves are long enough and the Velcro cuffs work well. The hood fits snug over the head and elastic around the face seals out wind and rain. The pockets and high but once unzipped are large and comfortable for hands. The zipper is on the women's side even those these are marketed as men's jackets. As advertised there is no inner pocket, adding one would make this the absolute perfect lightweight rain shell! We would highly recommend this rain jacket.

Great RAB quality, athletic fit, soft, comfortable. Somewhat expensive for such a rather light layer. I know the technology is here, but this is an expensive jacket for what you get. It's REALLY light weight.

It's stretchy as heck. Love the fact that I can reach up as far as I can without the bottom rising up. The top of the shoulders feels tight in a large as a large shouldered guy (bought according to size guide). Water proofing is great for what it is. It's like having a semi-worn DWR, but you don't have to baby it so much or re-apply treatment, just keep it clean. Not so great for long trips and downpours, but amazing for localized excursions and light rain. Most breathable waterproof jacket I've ever owned despite not having pit zips.

Just what I was looking for in an end of season spring skiing and climbing jacket. Super breathable and fabric has a nice stretch to it. Sweet color (evergreen). 5 Stars for sure.

Habe die Jacke im August 2022 gekauft. War zuerst sehr zufrieden, schöne Farbe(beluga) und perfekte Passform(S, ist bei meiner Figur- klein und breit - ansonsten eher schwer was passendes zu finden).Aufgrund des guten Wetters konnte ich die wichtigste Eigenschaft - wasserdicht - kaum testen, ein bisschen Nieselregen war kein problem.Im November dann, während einer Wanderung auf Gran Canaria der erste Einsatz als Regenjacke. Ca. 2 Stunden unterwegs, davon ca. 45min. Nieselregen, 20-25 min. leichter Regen, der Rest trocken. Der Inhalt meines nicht wasserdichten Rucksacks blieb trocken.Die Rab Kinetic allerdings war an fast allen Nähten durch. Das Material/Imprägnierung hat gehalten, aber alle Nähte sind derart schlecht verklebt oder verschweisst das überall Wasser eindrang, an den Armen, an der Kapuze und bei beiden Nähten auf der Brust.Die Qualitätsprobleme scheinen bei Rab Standard zu sein, da ich von der Jacke anfangs begeistert war habe ich mehr Produkte von Rab bestellt:#Nexus Fleece - retour wegen Verarbeitungsfehler#Capacitor Hoodie - absolute Frechheit, überall offene Nähte, beschädigt und voller #Produktionsreste(Fäden)#Aeon LT 18 nr. 1 - Retour, überall offene Nähte#Aeon LT 18 nr. 2 - Garantiefall, während des Urlaubs in Gran Canaria(Rucksack neu) begann der Schulterträger abzureissen# Deep Trawler Beanie - bis jetzt superHätte der Jacke sogar noch eine Chance gegeben, habe aber statt einer Ersatzjacke mein Geld zurück bekommen und jetzt währe sie um 60,- teurer zu haben.....Wenn nicht wasserdicht das Geld auf keinen Fall wert, eine normale leichte Softshell von Rab kostet nichtmal die Hälfte....
