Very nice made. True to size. A lot of cushion for your feet.

During the autumn season in the Midwest, the mornings can be quite damp. As the sun begins to rise, my wife heads outside to tend to all of her bird feeding stations. She replenishes the seed, suet and water. Dewy and frosty mornings can leave her shoes and socks quite soggy. I saw these waterproof boots and thought that they would be the perfect boot for her early morning jaunts. These smart looking boots fit her foot perfectly. In the fall, she wears thicker socks, so I accounted for this when choosing her size. She found them to be quite comfortable in every area of the boot. The tongue of the boot is thickly padded. The inside is cushioned and includes an insole. An extra pair of insoles is also provided. The weight of the boot is very appealing, as it is lighter than expected. For me, the main draw of these boots is that they are waterproof. Both the toe and heel are reinforced with a rubber material to keep your foot comfortable and dry. The outer sole is made of rubber as well. The bottom of the shoe has a deeply textured tread to aid in preventing slippage. On the back of each boot is a loop or bootstrap, which helps you step into the boot easily. We found the lacing system to be quite interesting. We were not familiar with this concept. One must pull out the button to release the wire lace and open up the shoe. The binding releases easily. Once your foot is placed snuggly inside, push the button back in and then turn it clockwise until you reach the desired tightness. My wife had no issue with pulling the button in our out, but she did not care for having to turning it. She said she would rather tie up regular shoelaces than fuss with turning a knob. She did find it necessary to pull (with her fingers) the wire lace further down the lacing area (towards the toe), to release the tension, so she could tighten up the front of the boot. Sometimes you do need to perform this task with regular laces, but it is more comfortable on the fingers because it is a thicker piece of material. It does not dig into your fingers like the wire lace does. All in all, my wife found the boots to be especially comfortable and attractive. She is very appreciative that they are waterproof. The lacing system did not appeal to her, but she will definitely wear these boots when performing her morning chores. She will rest assured that her feet will remain dry.

I recently received a pair of great hiking boots that feature a quick lace system, making them easy to use. They are made from high-tech waterproof fabric and have an anti-slip design for better grip, along with superior cushioning and support. The boots are comfortable and fit well. One of the standout features is the turn-lock closure, which allows for a tighter and quicker fit, securing the heel and ankle in place. Since this is my first pair of hiking boots, I really appreciate not having to lace them up manually; I simply use the turn-lock to tighten them and pull at the bottom to release the laces.I'm impressed with the quality of the shoelaces, and I highly recommend these boots to anyone looking for comfort and reliability in their hiking gear.

I wear an 8.5 shoe always, I never have to adjust. These fit very well. They are so much lighter than expected which I love because I hate wearing boots that weigh you down. It is very easy to slip these on and take them off. I couldn't figure out how to use the R Cord shoe lace at first. I read the instructions over and over because it kept referring me to the "bottom". It finally dawned on me that the word "bottom" should have been "button". Other than that, the comfort and ease of this boot is perfect. I highly recommend.
