I was afraid these would be stiff or difficult to break in but they’re surprisingly comfortable. They were great to wear all day camping.

I needed a pair of lightweight hiking boots for a trip to Patagonia in South America. My regular Merrell hiking boots can feel heavy after several miles of hiking. I Googled "Women's Lightweight Hiking Boots " and these popped up. My boots are light tan with the orange rubber surrounding the bottom. I have gotten numerous compliments from strangers when I wear these boots. I wore them frequently in Patagonia. They were very comfortable out of the box. No pinching and no blisters. These were the perfect lighter alternative to my heavier Merrells.

These shoes are built for comport rather than looks. I picked these up in black, my normal size 8. I was looking for something that didn't look too”hoking boot” like. These were advertised as being sneakers as well as hiking boots. So I took the plunge,figuring that they might fill a very unique hole in my wardrobe. I picked these up in my normal size in boots–8.5, and in black. I was hoping to use these as a combination high top sneaker and light walking boot, and they more than worked for that purpose. While they aren't particularly attractive, they are comfortable, with a wide toe box and fair padding on the insole.While I won't reach for these consistently, I have found them a place in my wardrobe.4 stars
