Ich habe kürzlich das RØDE Phone Cage erworben und bin äußerst zufrieden mit diesem Produkt. Die Verarbeitung ist erstklassig; das Cage besteht aus hochwertigem Aluminium, was es sowohl robust als auch leicht macht – ideal für den Einsatz unterwegs oder im Studio.Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Vielzahl an Anschlussmöglichkeiten: Mit fünf Cold-Shoe-Halterungen und zahlreichen 1/4-Zoll- und 3/8-Zoll-Gewinden bietet es immense Flexibilität für die Anbringung von Mikrofonen, Lichtern, Stativen und weiterem Zubehör.Der magnetische Halter ist äußerst praktisch. Ich habe mein iPhone 13 mit einem zusätzlichen Magnetring ausgestattet, und in dieser Kombination hält das Gerät sicher und stabil im Cage. Die integrierten Kabelmanagement-Schlitze sorgen zudem für eine ordentliche und aufgeräumte Einrichtung. Ich hätte mir nur gewünscht, dass in der Produktbeschreibung mehr Information darüber gegeben worden wäre, wie es genau mit dem Magnetring funktioniert - für alle, die nicht ständige Iphone-User etc sind (so wie ich). Ich musste mich da definitv erst mal einlesen und fragte Freunde, die mich erst auf die Idee brachten, das Case meines iPhones dann mit einem zusätzlichen Magnetring auszustatten.Insgesamt hat das RØDE Phone Cage meine Erwartungen übertroffen und ist eine hervorragende Wahl für alle, die ihr Smartphone in ein professionelles Filmrig verwandeln möchten.

I love this RØDE Phone Cage Magnetic Cage!I have tested two other cages, and what sets this RØDE cage apart is the quick, sturdy and simple magnetic mount. This makes it so easy to put your phone in the enclosure, shoot, and then put your phone away or use it... I have RØDE mics, and I have come to know the company for making great products. They live up to their reputation with this well designed and manufactured cage.The cage has 3/8-inch and 1/4-inch threads, plus cold shoe mounts, so you can attache a mic, light, external drive (I am using a CFexpress at the moment to get the most out of an iPhone 15 Pro).The cage helps steady shots and adds so much flexibility with how you can mix and match accessories.I am very impressed with this cage and I won't leave the studio without it.

A while back I got a case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max with shoe mounts and threaded mounts all over but it had one fatal flaw which bummed me out, there was no backing on it to protect the back of my phone. So I couldn't use it confidently for fear of breaking my phone's back glass, whether while shooting or just in transport. I could have swapped cases when needed but I didn't really like the idea of that either as once I get a phone it goes into a case and never comes out until I trade it in to make sure that it stays in pristine condition.So when I saw this I was very curious to see just how good it is in terms of comfort to hold, strength of both the build and the magnet, and how versatile the cage is in terms of adaptability. Well first off the thing is exteremely strong feeling and while I don't plan on dropping it ever I am not afraid of it breaking or becoming damaged, and the magnet has a very strong pull even through my phones thick teflon case which is a great relief to me, I had to shake it up and down with the phone facing the floor pretty hard for a good 20 seconds before the phone became dislodged and believe never would I be doing that while shooting video so I am not sure of any use case scenario that might actually cause that to occur. Second the comfort is great as is. I can comfortably hold the cage by the sides or top and bottom depending on what I am trying to shoot and have great control over the shot, but also with the threaded holes on all sides you can easily attach grips anywhere to this for added comfort or control if you want it.Lastly versatility, there are shoe mounts on the top and bottom on both the left and right so you can mount lights, mics etc. in 4 different places depending on your preference. Then there are a total of 31 threaded holes on this thing for any other accessories you might wish to attach, so I would say it is pretty versatile lol. I don't even know if I have 31 accessories I could attach! Just kidding, I know I don't.I set this up with my iPhone, my R0DE wireless mic, shotgun mic, shoe mounted light and loved the way it felt, the control of each shot, and the look of the video after.I would absolutely recommend this to everyone looking to get more out of filming with a phone.
