I really appreciate the extra padding when I press an item; however, the smell of the pad since it's been heated is horrible. I finally moved it out of my craft area into the basement because it made my house smell awful!

I was leary to purchase this item because some of the reviews stated it smelled and it had a crease from the way it shipped. My mat had neither of these two things. I love it definitely works the way I wanted it to.

The mat is very thick but flexible. I cut it to meet my specific needs and cut perfectly with an exacto knife and the cut edges (interior) look exactly like the surface.

The last silicone mat I had for my heat press became deformed due to pressing plates and when I’d try to press a shirt it wouldn’t allow the center of the shirt to get adequate heat. Purchased this to replace that old pad and have had no issues with any of the shirts I’ve pressed so far. Definitely worth the purchase if you need another mat for your heat press.
