This trowel puts a very smooth finish on the concrete test cylinders.

Not stainless steel as advertisedBadly constructed with handle only held by single welding so unfit for purpose as too fragileReturned unused

I though It would last a lot longer then one day and the handle wouldn’t break as it a known brand for plastering tools

Bucket trowel did not last one day. Started audible cracking first thing. Thought it was just in the handle because I did not see the crack in the metal. Mid afternoon I was scooping wet Type S cement onto my trowel and the scoop broke in half, leaving half the blade attached to the handle. I was refunded, but disappointed in Marshalltown.

I couldn't tell from the pic on the trowel's page that the tip was cut on a bias. I would've liked to know that up front. It's made for right handed person and would sweep around the bucket in a counter clockwise fashion. It could be some time before I actually use it and find out how I like that. I can't imagine how a left handed person would even use it. It's nice and heavy, I'm sure it will stand up. The finish might need maintenance from time to time. It is pictured here with a 5 quart bucket.

Very well built. I have a stone foundation and wanted to fill in all the joints and kind of smooth out the complete wall. This worked well to get the mortar out of the pail and throw it on the wall.

Use it every day at work. Sturdy and reliable like all marshalltown tools. I wish it were cut the other way, though. Left handers always get screwed like that.

I use these to scrape brick when washing it.... I bought these and really liked the grip... unfortunately these are the Chinese made marshalltowns and they are welded together and made from cheaper thin metal... broke within a month I'd say... I'm only buying the more expensive ones now

I have numerous other Marshaltown tools. I wash each the same way, carefully, after work each day. This one is the only one that is invariably covered in rust within several hours. The handle and size are good and it is a solid tool, but the poor quality of the metal and the resulting rust render this particular tool unfit for purpose.
