This mop is just ok. The squeeze function is not dependable and I have to use my hands to get it started because the plastic is cheap.

Many years ago I had a mop similar to this one and I loved it. One day, it finally got so old and worn out, that I had to part ways with it. I looked for another like it and couldn't find one that was even halfway decent. So, for convenience sake, I bought another type of mop. I used it, but always wished for my old mop.I was so surprised to see this mop - it's a newer, updated version of the old one I loved!This mop is made very well with good materials. It is strong and sturdy. Assembly requires screwing the pole together and making sure you have the mop head on the correct end...LOL!My kitchen floor was overdue for a good mopping. Once I got this all put together, the mopping action started. Mopping the floor, in my opinion, is so much easier with this type of mop, especially the hard to clean areas. Now, my kitchen floor is clean and looks great. My body isn't aching like it usually does after mopping. I had forgotten how easily and efficiently a floor can be done with this kind of mop. Of course, the fact that this is a very well made mop, makes mopping easier.Overall, I already love this strong and sturdy mop. The self wringing feature is an added bonus. I'm totally satisfied and highly recommend it.

This product has worked well with washing. The feature to squeeze out excess water has been very helpful. It does have a weird smell, very strong, first out of the box, but after washing and using it has shown to work well. The smell is no longer from after a wash, and drying out. It dries very fast as well and that is a huge benefit!

I was really looking forward to this self wringing mop as this would have been very useful for household chores but this just failed me. The handle looks sturdy and I also have no issues with short handle as I am petite and the length works fine for me. My main issue is the mop is really stiff and it does not lay straight even when the lever is all the way down because of which the mop touches the surface only on sides and barely cleans the spills. Since the mop is very stiff, it feels like rolling a piece of plastic or wood on the floor.

This Sponge mop is sturdy and handy with grooves and a handle that you can use to squeeze out the excess water without having to touch it and get your hands dirty. Works great!
