I ordered this as a birthday present for my partner, and her birthday finally happened. She's a beginner at this stuff, and for her, I think the quality is just right. The main part is the bag and the hardware, and it's great. The hardware is of nice and durable stuff. I got it hung by myself, and it took me about an hour. Once I got the hang of how to fill it, no big deal. I love the kickboxing size. It's like 50" tall, so it's good for people of different heights. My ten year old daughter does karate. So, that's great too. The gloves, wraps, grip trainer, and jump rope, are the thoughtful, and awesome additions, and we are very happy with the whole package!

I found myself very impressed with this. The whole set up is like really solid. I’m not sure if it’s something you’ve seen the gym. They probably have a more heavy duty punching bag there but for homework it’s perfect. Just make sure you’re gonna have somebody or you’re gonna be able to mount it yourself And make sure it’s secure so you don’t knock it off the ceiling. I don’t know if it’s easy to set up it says requiring some hardware and some ability to hang things properly so it’s not just out of the box and in use right away but once you have it set up it’s obviously it’s just a punch bag and it comes with gloves, which is nice. You don’t have to run out by those Supposed. My only complaint is they’re just one size so they don’t necessarily fit like the little kids that well although you really want your kids punching things well maybe you do. I don’t know it is a good workout so there’s that if you wanna take a boxing in your spare time or just for fun or is an alternative to your regular yoga I think you’ll enjoy it

Got this for our family of three (Hubby, Me, and 9 year old) to get some exercise. We absolutely love the quality of the set and have been very impressed! I love that it can have different fillings! Our 9 year old isn't strong enough for us to have filled it with sand, so we used old clothes and that has been the perfect filler for us! We hung it from the ceiling in our shop and it has been very used and is holding up wonderfully! The gloves that come with it fit our 9 year old and even my 6'4 hubby's hands. This is such a great set for the family, I definitely recommend!

Great gift, it was easy to assemble and what i find is you fill the base with sand not water. The kids love it. And its a great workout and play toy for the kids as well. Great buy for the money.

This punching bag took a good while to install! We needed to have a board installed between the joists of our ceiling in order to mount with the plate provided in the kit. The plate seems decent quality, though the screws were not usable since they weren't right for installation on wood. We used different screws that were rated for the weight of the bag, and that worked out for us. This is the main reason for the four star rating. The punching bag itself is pretty solid. We filled it with old clothes and blankets, so it has a relatively soft yet heavy weight to it. The bag swings well and doesn't appear to stress the point of installation much. I'm very happy with the actual set-up of the bag itself; it's a very low-cost option for someone wanting to get into using punching bags in their workouts. The add-ons appear to be of good quality. The gloves look and feel fine to use, and the wraps are very useful. The wraps are long and are made of fabric, so they're fairly easy to take care of after a session by chucking into the washing machine. For some reason, I didn't get a jump rope, only two hand strengtheners, but they seem like they're pretty good based on casual use. I can't attest to what the jump rope is like, unfortunately.Overall, quite a steal for the price! If you want to get into using punching bags and don't want to break the bank, this is a great place to get started.

A little flimsy, but worth the money

This is a really nice punching bag. It comes with everything I needed to get started. I did look up the screws though...Those weren't something I was used to. I didn't end up using those as they seem like they're supposed to go in cement or something like that, and I was putting it into my...joists? IDK, it's in my unfinished basement. I installed the anchor into the center (nearly...I wanted to leave a spot to screw it in, so it's off center) of an old piece of 2x4 that was long enough to reach 3 of my joists. I screwed the board into those 3 joists with some thick screws (just as thick as the ones it came with) I had to drill the holes first.Once I got that done, everything else was easier. I'm glad I didn't stuff it with something heavy or the bag wouldn't be up...just saying...I'm not that strong. I'm lucky I got it up there as it is. I used some Poly-Fil fluff (like what you use for stuffing stuffed animals. I was going to use it for something else (make clouds with lights in my ceiling) but decided against that, so I needed to find a use, and that worked great. It was super easy to fill. It zipped up just fine too.I'm sure clothes would work great too, but I feel like I'd need 1 of my nephews to put it up there if I filled it with something heavy. They did like how it felt and were punching it like crazy. I already learned that you're supposed to use gloves to punch the bags to help preserve the bags, so I let them have a go at it as long as they used gloves. They're looking forward to coming back to do more punching.Speaking of gloves, these fit me so well. I'm glad it says what size gloves these are. 12OZThe wraps are really nice too. I use them to help under the gloves. I wrapped my hands on a way to protect my wrists as well, so when I punch, I don't hurt my wrists. It also helps to keep the gloves from getting smelly as they will take up the majority of the sweat, and I can wash them way more easily than the boxing gloves. The hand strengthener is nice. Out the box, it was set at a level that would give me resistance but I'd also still be able to squeeze it more than just like twice in a row.The jump rope is like other jump ropes. Nothing wrong with it, and nothing to phone home about. It helps keep up the cardio, and adds more exercises I can do when not punching a bag. This is a nice kit, and I'm really happy the gloves fit me. A+
