The build quality seems nice and the materials feel good. The price seems like a really good deal if it happens to fit you perfectly, but that's a big risk because this chair is not adjustable enough The back is not adjustable, and the "lumbar support" is extremely low. It's more like sacral support than lumbar support, so you should only buy this chair if you really prefer very low back support, because it cannot be raised. The arm rests go up and down, but that's it. They are too far forward in my opinion to feel comfortable typing at a desk, and they cannot go back, or rotate or pivot or any other adjustment besides up and down. I specifically bought this chair because a review on YouTube showed off all the different adjustments that were possible with these arms, but they must have changed that feature. It didn't take too long to put together, maybe about 20-30 minutes. Overall it feels really bad to sit in. It does not hold my body right at all and it forces me to slump awkwardly and sit far away from my desk. I wanted to like this chair because the materials feel nice and it's a budget-friendly option, but it just doesn't work for me and there's nothing I can do about it without more adjustability.

After reading some of the other reviews I was concerned that the chair would have issues. I was wrong. This chair is way better than the expensive gaming chair it was purchased to replace.Overall I rated this chair with 5 stars due to materials, construction, fit/finish, attention to details, and value added items. If I'm able I'll do a follow up after a few months of use.Note: I'm 5'10", 260#Pros:1. Mostly metal construction where it counts, plastic where it doesn't matter much.2. Lumbar support and headrest are perfect for me.3. T-Wrench included instead of a hex key (allen wrench), huge bonus!4. Height adjusts well above would normally sit and lower. So it's suited taller/shorter people.5. Arm rest mounts can slide in and out for those of us with wider bottoms (requires using the T-Wrench).6. Arm rests adjust very high (good for long gaming sessions) and low to get underneath the desk.7. All fasteners have threadlocker on them. ++8. Tilt works well, in addition to the lumbar support and headrest, you can take easily sleep in this chair, especially if you have something to rest your feet/legs on.9. Spare parts!! who does that? I love it..10. WRITTEN, illustrated instructions. No web page cheapness here.11. Expertly packaged. This chair and it's components are HEAVY. Each part is wrapped in cushioning material AND plastic. Then layered in the box such that if the box is impacted one part won't damage another. The box itself is heavy duty, stiff cardboard (my cats love it!!).Cons:1. The directions indicate "curved side towards you" but the illustration isn't clear and could be confused to be the bottom edge being curved rather than the entire end of the cushion.2. No progressive locking for the recline position. Really more of a feature request than a con. It's all the way up or down.

After looking for months for a nice gaming chair i found this one. Really comfortable, aesthetic, nice materials, I dont feel any discomfort when using it for hours.Only con i would say is you cannot adjust the angle of inclination, just two positions.Highly recommended!!

It is pretty comfortable, especially since it only cost me $117, but I am very disappointed with the misleading marketing. They have many marketing materials that talk about how the seat is designed to be ergonomically comfortable, with springs inside to help provide support. That's all fake. 100% made up. The seat is just foam, and after a couple of hours of sitting in it, you can feel the wood under the foam. It just bottoms out. That leads to it not being as comfortable as it could be with just a little bit of a better seat. However, I am very disappointed in how misleading the marketing around the seat itself is.

Very sturdy and well built. I have degenerative spine issues and this chair gives me the support I need! Looks very professional. Was a great value for the price.

This chair feels like it was designed for people under 5'8 and 150lbs that want a chair that looks good more than they want a functional one.The springs in the seat cushion are definitely just a gimmick and don't do anything for comfort; you can barely feel them even when you're looking for them and when you do find one it feels like it's small and weak. I'm well below the average American weight and the seat still hurts my tailbone after only 30 minutes. The arm rests are cheap hard foam rests that aren't totally rock bottom of quality and comfort, but they're only height adjustable and the mounting method for the arms means its easy to have misaligned arm rests. The head rest is good, but don't think about using headphones and looking to the side or you'll get deafened by the sound of the fabric grazing against your headphones. It also doesn't come off the same way it goes on and you have to unscrew it with the included screwdriver to take it off if it bothers you, like it did to me.This chair has very limited adjustment and a terrible seat cushion that offers no support and sinks straight to the plywood base. Do not buy.

I have ordered a couple of office chairs online and they are all quite good. This one is probably the best.Everything came in a large, heavy box. All parts complete. I like how all the parts were individually packed. Some were even packed twice to ensure that the parts wouldn’t get damaged. Labelled very well as to avoid confusion.Looks sturdy and durable. Very easy to assemble. The instructions on the manual was very concise. The wheels were quite hard to insert. Constant pressure is needed. It is a good thing though since it wouldn’t detach easily unlike the others. They glide very well.I love the armrest. It looks solid from afar but if you rest your arms or press it, it is actually soft. And the armrest can be adjusted to the height you prefer. The seat is wide and soft. Very comfortable. The mesh used for the headrest, backrest, and lumbar support is fantastic. Firm yet comfortable. Breathable. The lumbar support is something new. Older chairs would not have this. This really helps in posture and prevents back pain. The hydraulic system works well. Similar to other chairs. There are a few things to note:There is a center pilot hole when connecting the backrest to the chair. There is no screw in the manual for it. Although there are a lot of spare parts, i opted not to insert a screw in it since this might have been intentional and might cause problems in the future. The neck rest needs to be oiled to be able to glide up and down. I just gave it a good thump and it worked well. The tilting mechanism only locks in the upright and 130° (complete recline) position. You can angle the backrest using your weight and it stays there but when you move forward, it releases. Although i like it that way, my wife would have preferred one that locks.Overall, we are happy with this order. Quite pricy at $249 but quality is never cheap.

Overall this is a really nice quality chair for the price. Great value overall.Every single thing, from packaging, assembly, instructions, warranty, and the actual chair is really good quality and design. For this price point, I am really surprised (in a great way) and it was so well received, my neighbour actually is interested in buying one for herself after spotting my new chair. :)This is a good sized seat for average sized people. Ive starting finding office chairs either having too tiny seats (too shallow) or way too big seats (extra deep or wide without advertising it as such) and having a seat area that is badly sized to an average person will make for a lot of discomfort. This is great for me at 170cm, my neighbour at about 160cm, and even my husband who is 186cm. Easy to adjust the height up and down, and the lumbar support is great on the back! The seat back is nice and tall, to support the whole if the back and shoulders. The arms can be adjusted up or down, not VERY adjustable, but enough for this pricepoint. The cushion foam feels sturdy and comfortable. The arms are a harder plastic, but not HARD, and not freezing cold. The head support is also adjustable. The wheels and base seem solod and well made. It rolls easily on any firm surface.Really, genuinely pleased with this chair. Is it the same quality and adjustability as my husbands fancy-schmancy steelcase chair? Nope. But does it cost anywhere at all close to that thing? Nope! WAY more affordable. At this pricepoint it is better quality and functionality than any other not-large-brand name chair we have purchased, and I like it a lot better than the "highly rated" ikea chairs my FIL has in his office, this one feels much nicer quality and is more comfortable at the comparable price.Very pleased. Proto Arc seems like a newer company, but they are obviously doing some things right. I am definitely recommending this as an excellent value office chair.

Good office chair with a sturdy base.Pros:- Breathable design- Comfortable arm rest design- Easy assembly- Locks so you can lay backCons:- Cushion is thick, but not as firm as I thought. It does bottom out depending on your seat placement. I don't see this lasting for very long.- Bottom ark support does not protrude enough for proper support.- Back rest is slightly loose and sways left to right. (I made sure to tighten all screws)Overall this is a good starter office chair with Olone of the best packaging designs I've seen so far.
