Its frameless design takes up minimal space without sacrificing stability. The stand is made from high-grade black powder coated steel to keep your gong safely secured as you play it, even allowing it to sway freely for the best sound. A double braced base adds reinforcements to support heavier gongs. Plus, the finish looks great in any space. We've provided an allen wrench to get you up and going fast with putting this stand together. No extra tools or mechanical experience are required, and it comes together quickly and without hassle. Raise and lower the top portion of this stand with the locking height adjustability feature located on the center vertical beam. This gives you full control and locks everything in place once you've found your desired height. To maintain the best possible sound of your gong, the horizontal arm and four feet on the bottom legs are designed to help eliminate unwanted vibration so all you hear are the pure, soothing and powerful sounds of your gong. Hang any gong cord from the two hooks located on the horizontal arm. The hooks are deep in shape, keeping your gong cord secure which allows your gong to sway freely back-and-forth for immersive sounds. Sold separately, this stand also accepts our gong holder (model no. TMGS-2-G), which is a second horizontal arm that can attach to the center beam so you can have two gongs mounted at once. The stand is very sturdy and well built.I did have to return it though because after the gong (34") is hung, the gong projects out so far- too far for the space the stand was going. When the stand is against the wall the gong is out almost 2 feet which was too far.Buyer beware- it states "free returns" however I had to pay to return it and after nearly a week, I'm still waiting for my refund on the remainder- less the shipping that was charged for "free returns".

Advertised as NOT made in China, but is made in Thailand as printed on the box and the tag that comes with it. Doesn't matter to me...The stand was relatively easy to put together, the most challenging part was putting the angled support on the bottom. I reccomend finger tightening the bottom screw first, then lining up the top screw and using the supplied wrench to tighten it. I almost thought the holes were drilled wrong, but after some troubleshooting (and accidentally scratching the finish) I got it to fit.The stand looks great and is nice and sturdy, my 40" Chau sits nicely on the stand with little wobble.

ONLY FITS AND THE DOUBLE BRACED STANDS,THEY SHOULD MAKE IT FOR THE SINGLE BRACED STANDS AS WELL FOR SMALLER GONGS.....NOW I HAVE TO JIMMY RIG IT!!!!

Invece che comprare un altro supporto questo braccio mi ha permesso di montare 2 gong sullo stesso. Stabile , comodo. Altamente consigliato.

On the very first day we got this, it was apparent that it didn't fit the stand it was intended for. We contacted the manufacturer right away and they confirmed the problem and promised a fairly quick resolution to it. We are now starting the 6th month with no resolution.

Be warned that this additional Meinl Gong holder that is supposed to to be used on the Meinl Gong/ Tam-Tam holder doers not fit!! It was constructed too small. I got a second one from the seller and same problem. I contacted Meinl in Germany and they could care less. At the factory in Thailand, someone changes the specifications on the holder or the stand and now these two parts do not fit. Do not order this attachment until Meinl fixes the problem. You will just land up returning it!!

Having two gongs on one stand is great. Just set up and haven't used yet beyond a quick try, but so far all great...only thing is the hooks for the gong cord are pretty far apart so when I hung by 28" gong...the cord was stretched tight and gong is not free to vibrate fully with cord going along face of gong....so have a longer cord(gut) handy for smaller gongs... my 32" gong cord was fine with the hooks spacing
