This bar pad is the name of all bar pads in the dirt bike scene for as long as I can remember. Yes it may be “just foam” but the name says something. They research the type of closed cell foam to use to prevent head trauma as well as the type of velcro to keep the cover fastened on there during aggressive riding. This pad is a great pad. Open up the package, take all the cellophane off of the cover and the pad. Take a fresh box cutter and a ruler to make a nice straight cut through the foam. Once you cut it straight you stretch it onto your bar, and compress it a bit with one hand while velcro the cover with the other hand. It takes a minute to get right but you want all the velcro making contact with eachother to be secure. It looks good, better yet will protect the youngster when he’s riding the minibike. Great bar pad.
