I took a chance that this truing stand would be OK to build a set of new wheels. This thing is absolute junk. It has a terrible, flimsy, flexible design. Not even close to repeatable wheel centering. Total waste of money. Buy a Park or Park clone instead.

I had a much cheaper stand for years and finally upgraded to this. I should have done it sooner and this was instantly a huge upgrade. This stand is sturdy and easy to use.

I'm slightly stunned by how well built this truing stand is. I cannot speak for the gauges, yet. But the rest is as good as it gets, which is pleasantly surprising given that it is made in China. The materials are top notch aluminum and steel. The adjustments are fine. I'm generally impressed.

It's a nice truing stand for any DIY guy or gal on a budget. Mine set up dead true and required no tweaking. It's just as accurate as any of them. It's just not designed or built for commercial use. I don't use the dial indicators as I find them unnecessary for bicycle wheels although if I had disc brakes I would use that one for the rotors I'm sure.

I've been building wheels for nearly two decades and have owned nearly every model made by Park including the ts3. This is a quality unit and calibrates very easily. Pro tip - do not rely on the arms for tension on the hub! They flex and will mar the bearing surface. Instead, clamp your skewer or thru axle adapter. The only downside to this is that it takes a few extra seconds. I just built a set of wheels and enjoyed using the new stand. I mounted it on an old serving tray for portability but on a stable base.

My first impressions of this truing stand are quite good...I was very impressed at how easily and smoothly the wheel adjustment lever is for adjusting to the width of the axles...you can practically free-spin it. I have a somewhat similar stand with the same dial indicator gauges, but this one also includes a disc gauge attachment and seems a bit more sturdy than the other. However, this stand doesn't collapse down for storage like the other, so it's probably better for a more permanent installation or for a space where you can keep it as opposed to an on-the-go solution. Like the other stand, the gauges are very sensitive so you can fine-tune your adjustments, and the overall construction quality seems excellent. One thing I didn't like is that there are no instructions included in the box. There's only one plate that screws to the bottom so that's fairly obvious, and a quick look on Amazon can show you how the gauges attach, but seems like an oversite not to include any sort of printed reference.

Easy to use and works on most makes/models. Highly recommend.
