Works for .308 cal. and 7.62mm platform chambers. It's a nice mop, and should hold up well. So far has been unaffected by bore cleaning chemicals and lubes.

The lug recess part of the mop is a bit too fuzzy. I picked the loose stuff out, and it will be OK, but the ones from Outers or Brownells are better.
