I purchased this pump awhile back in preparation for when I was going to do my plumbing upgrades. My unit locked up pretty quickly after hooking up and no longer works. Unfortunatelyy I'm passed my return window, but here's a few things I found:• Noise level is a little loud like others have said. Could get annoying after awhile• Connections are not common for hooking up to inside plumbing. To use as a transfer pump outside it would be better since the downstream connection is for a garden hose.• Like I said above, my unit locked/seized up pretty quickly after hooking up. This was quite the pain since I just spent $100 worth of PEX fittings in order to hook the pump up and plumb in a bypass. At least I can reuse the PEX fittings, but the pump will be going to the trash.Ultimately, it might have worked as an outside transfer pump, but I can't tell for sure. Maybe I received a dud, not sure.

The pump worked very well for adding pressure and volume to my house water but after less than a month the on-demand switch no longer worked making the pump for my application useless. The pump is very quite and is decently powerful. The installation is tough when trying to connect it to PEX tubing because of the needed adapters and if you get the wrong thread they won't seal and will leak, good luck.

There is the amount of pressure that we needed. Don't hear it operating at all. It was easy to install with it's 3/4" fittings. The pump turns on automatically when taps are opened and shuts off automatically when taps shut off. I don't hesitate to recomment this pump for others who need more water pressure.

Got this unit for my lawn sprinkler. But the unit heats up in no time and shuts down. I did run it for around 20-25 minutes and had to wait for another 1h to use it. Not work for the lawns or continuous use.

No stars. Sent a used one as you can see with no instructions and missing a screw and washers. I was willing to try it since I really needed it. Leaked even after I replaced washers and got red hot after 2 minutes. Garbage

I'm happy with the end results, but solving the leak problem was a challenge. That took days to disconnect and reconnect the fitting to stop the leaks. I now have very good water pressure through out the house.

It's working ok after some adaptations to make it work with cold and hot water in Cuba. The only thing my son says the electricity bill has increased a lot.
