Work as advertised. they look great in my landscape. I will buy again when they wear out from the weather. They usually last 2 - 3 years pending how bad of weather. I take the out during the winter due to very cold and snow.

I really needed these for my front yard as my house is really dark. I put these out and unfortunately they do not work well at all. They have time to charge all day and at night all of them except 1 are super dim! I feel like I may have to look into ones powered by electricity to get the brightness i need. 2 stars because they actually do light up, just not well.

So I got 2 kinds of lights like this. One metal and one plastic. They were left outside all winter long. The plastic ones only 2 survived and are missing a couple lights. These ones however are same as the day I got them. I looked out the window at 3:30am and they were still brightly lit! I ordered another set and pitched the plastic ones.

After three weeks in the ground, all but one of the lights have water in them. They are still working for now, but I don't anticipate they will last much longer. I am also having issues with the stakes that go in the ground. The stake attaches to the light puck with four little pegs. After three weeks of mowing once a week, four of the lights have pegs broken off inside of them. After my last mow, those four lights had shifted out of line and were tilted toward the ground. When I pulled them out to adjust them, I discovered each light had at least one broken peg. I put them back in the ground, but again don't expect them to last much longer if the stakes are breaking off after three weeks of mowing. And since we're talking about the stakes, I wasn't thrilled with their design from the beginning. Each stake is two plastic triangle pieces that slide together and then connect to the light puck. When I was initially installing them, there were a handful of lights that were REALLY hard to push in the ground. When I pulled one up, it's because the the two plastic triangles are not very strong and were separating from each other and curling in the ground. I live in Central Florida - the ground is basically sand with grass on top and I had pulled out some of the grass with my hands to make things even easier. If the stake can't perform it's job in our sand, I can't imagine it will work well in any other place with more tightly packed soil or clay.Overall I'm very disappointed with this product. They look great, were easy enough to install, and look lovely at night, but we're not even a whole month in and they're breaking down. We haven't even had as much rain this summer as we normally do and there have been no hurricanes or tropical storms yet. I purchased five boxes of these to do my entire driveway and line my landscape. I am so glad I decided to only put out one box as a test. The four unopened boxes are being returned to Amazon with two days to spare. I haven't decided if I'm willing to argue with the company about the box I put in the ground. I may just eat the cost and leave them until they die. Save yourself the disappointment and go with another product.

20 December 2022: These solar lights are at 6months of use. Majority of them have rusted, only 1 or 2 *faintly* makes it to dawn with the rest running out of battery before midnight--and I live in a very mild climate; at least 6 will not turn on anymore, and at least another 6 has yellowed or burned out LEDs (so instead of a full ring of light, it is broken up or varying in colors). I've reduced to 3 Stars & will add a star if the company sends me replacements!!!! Another thing as many other customers have mentioned is that the stakes to hold the lights are very fragile, causing me to leave several lights lying on the concrete. This part doesn't personally bother me but it will for some. I would still purchase these all over again if I needed to, but hopefully this brand produces a more secure solar light that I could test. In the meantime, I hope they provide replacements for the non-functioning lights so I can increase stars. If the company does not respond I will be lowering to 2 Stars. I'll update again in a few months!18 September 2022: They've now gotten 3 months of use. They do still work, however some of them will only stay lit for about 4 hours no matter how much direct sun they get. :( I even swapped places with different lights now that the direct sunlight path has shifted for the season, no change. I put out around 24 of them; a third won't stay light for more than 4 hours or so (from about 730pm-midnight); another third make it to about 2am; the remaining *barely* make it to about 430am. I've also made sure grass and dirt do not block the sensors. It's a bummer they don't last as long but I'm still please with this purchase! The good news is, they provide path guidance for the times that I need it. And anything in the middle of the night or before dawn gets lit up with motion solar lights I purchased. I'll update again in a few months, but in the meantime I think you'd also be pleased with these little ground lights!!26 June 2022: I've had these disk solar lights for about two weeks now. Overall, so far so good. Mainly purchased to have guidelights at entrance to the driveway--the streetlamp is old and dying but they won't replace it until it's totally dead--so it's very dark especially when I dont feel like turning on my porch lights that attract lots of insects! I was adamant on COOL white, not warm lights, which made my search slightly more difficult. There were plenty of extra solar disks so I've put them in several other spots to see what works for me. The ones with 6+ hours of direct sunlight stay fully bright throughout the entire night; the ones with 4+ hours are bright halfway through the night and are medium to dim at dawn; the ones in shady spots with 2+ hours of daylight have remained dim from dusk through dawn! I've already had several big rainstorms, and they all still function very well, with only the shady spot disks running out of battery about two hours before dawn. After rain, I walk out to wipe their tops if muddy/spotty so they'll charge better for next use. Overall pleased between price & function, and I intend purchasing another set or two for more solar fun & to have a few spares.
