This 5” to 4” dust collection coupler provides you with a portable, versatile and convenient solution to attaching your industry standard machines to dust hoses (and fittings). With its left hand threaded design, this quick connect attachment doesn’t require hose clamps - thus eliminating the need to constantly connect and disconnect your components each time a new machine is used. It possesses a highly durable ABS plastic construction that was designed and engineered to withstand the abrasive nature of woodshop dust collection. Its also equipped with a taper end that allows for a snug, secure and airtight fit that won’t impact the effectiveness of your dust collection system.
Dual End Compatibility
- Tapered End: 5-Inch inner diameter end presses onto any 5-Inch diameter tapered dust collection port
- Threaded End: The 4 Inch threaded end threads onto a 4-Inch left hand dust collection hose or fitting

This is just what I needed for my shop set up. I am using the Harbor Freight 2 hp dust collector. I have a 2 stage system with a 30 gal plastic barrel to collect the big wood chips. I needed this to connect the motor housing to a 4 inch flex hose that goes to my 30 gal barrel. This worked perfect. The fit was nice and tight and I just drilled a small hole in the side to attach it to my HF DC . No silicone or metal tape and no air leaks.Did the job I needed. Like all Dust Collector fittings this is expensive for just plastic, but it does work.If you have the same need I would recommend this adapter.

This reducer fits the Oneida Mini Gorilla. My MG’s hose port is oddly not completely circular, but a little elongated into a slight oval. Regardless, this reducer fits without the need for any tape or anything. I have a Rockler Dust Right 4” hose attached to the reducer.
