Benutze diese Schieber für mein Regenwassersammelleitung-System. Sind zwar nicht 100% dicht aber das leichte tropfen kostet kaum wasser. Der Preis für dichte Kugelhähne währe in etwa der 20 fache gewesen. Sollen das Wasser nicht im Tank halten sondern nur umleiten, in den Tank oder in den Abfluß wenn der Tank voll ist.

I tried these for the price and decent reviews. After installing 4 of them and turning on the dust collector, I discovered that each one leaks a little bit of air. I heard the one at the drill press whistling. After checking each one, I found they all leak slightly. I have drops coming from the duct in the ceiling and, when combined, my guess is the efficiency is lessened. I will replace these with a better quality metal gates.I’ve had good luck from this brand before, and am not totally disappointed. I knew at this price point there was a risk.

I had to fix one because they are so hard to pull, the plastic door plate came right out I had to glue the casing.the pipe parts are taper (bad idea)

Obvious usage is to select the tool getting the suction but just as important is it provide a 4" connection to my DIY duct hoods for radial arm saw, router tale, sander, jointer, thickness planer, lathe and drill press. Have yet to complete some of the duct hoods but the 1300 CFM WEN dust collector has plenty of suction for my worst case chip makers.

Leaked around the gate when shut, but after placing a strip of Gorilla tape around the edge of the gate….tight seal!

Not the easiest blast gates to manipulate but they get the job done at a really good price.
