So far I’ve only used a couple on wood and fiberglass knife handles but they have worked well. No joint bump, they run straight, they don’t clog up and they clean well. I’ll definitely be getting more!

I was surprised how long they last. Almost as long as the more expensive ceramic belts that I usually use. They run smooth with no chatter or vibration, like some cheap belts do. I will definitely get more when I burn through all of these.

These are actually really good belts for the price. I am a semi professional knifemaker and usually buy higher quality belts from Norton, 3M, VSM, etc. For grinding steel I still stick with coated ceramic belts, but those belts cost $10-$20 each and don’t perform great on wood. Wood doesn’t have the hardness to fracture ceramic abrasive belt grit so those expensive belts are wasted when then plug up or glaze from grinding wood and resins. For those things I have tried aluminum oxide belts from at least half a dozen companies which usually cost between $4-6 per belt. At half the price these belts are pretty much as good or better than any other AO belt I have tried. They run true with little wobble, they have a nice stiff weight backing, they cut well, and they are reasonably priced. I have tried the 40-120-400 grits and these will be my belt of choice for wood and resins from now on. I tried them on both annealed and hardened steel just to see, and for that, ceramics are still absolutely the way to go as far as belt life. These will cut decent at the start, but the cost vs life span and number of belt changes still gives the win to ceramics by a strong margin for me. If your main use is wood, fiberglass, composites, resin, or softer materials like aluminum, these are a winner.

For just plain removal of material, the 80 grit is a decent value. Not long lasting, but they are cheap and work just fine for materials that aren’t super hard. They work great for leather, kydex, most hardwoods.Super convenient to just order these off Amazon.

Le produit est de bonne qualité, malgré qu'il soit fait pour travailler le bois, il performe relativement bien avec de l'acier aussi, on ne peut pas non plus lui demander de performer pour une travail pour lequel il n'est pas conçu, mais il se défend bien malgré cela. Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment bon, je le recommande!!!
