I have used many different coffee makers from a Keurig and Aero Press to french press. It looks like this is going to be a great coffee maker. I can have the convenience of a k-cup or a stronger cup using bag coffee with the included paper filters. Wish I had found this before I bought the Aero Press.

Not wanting to replace my Keurig coffee maker due to counter space, I opted for this manual k-cup coffee maker. I am over the moon at the ease of use and the quality of the brewed coffee. This is a great coffee maker!

This is the best thing ever. I used it camping. All I had to do was heat my water on campfire stove. I put in a pod and pour in the hot water and then I had coffee. It's just like having a keurig but portable and so easy. You can make your ground coffee in it if you don't do pods. I love this thing so much. So glad I bought it. I was sketchy about it at first but wow, there was no need for that. I had my Gavalia Caramel Macchiato camping. So great!

Ok so I love this, with slight warning for anyone with executive dysfunction or weak wrists.Executive dysfunction-havers:It comes with paper filters for ground coffee. Use them, and when you use them make sure you empty it immediately. Leaving a filter in there and letting it dry will have you swearing and soaking it under the tap and cursing your past self for their ridiculous hubris."Oh I'll just have my cup of coffee first, then I'll clean it" you might say. NO. You're having the coffee so you can do something else, literally your whole motivation here is that you're having coffee so you can get distracted *doing something else* and you *needed coffee* to do that.Clean the pod NOW! It's easy NOW. You know what moist coffee grounds and torn filter paper feels like under your fingernails! It's gross!Ok good now go have your coffee.Wrist crackle-snappers:The pod, and the hopper the pod goes in, both twist to lock.If they're not perfectly aligned, or the pod is overfilled, they will not twist. There is no ramp/gradient to the interlock that pulls the halves together, it's either aligned or it isn't. Undoing the hopper from the plunger and tube is also a bit stiffer than doing it up in the first place. One for wrist-poppers again:Pushing the plunger is easy, pulling the plunger is hard. But, it will be full of boiling water before you push it and the bottom and pod are hotter than hell afterwards. Refer to the executive dysfunction section on why you'll want to make sure this is possible for you to do before it cools down all the way.Honestly I love it. Quick, clean, makes the good brown stuff and produces amusing noises. Just be nice to yourself.

I ordered this to take motorcycle camping, I usually make instant coffee but wanted something better. I tested it at home a few times to make certain, this press absolutely delivers, coffee tastes exactly like it does at home using the Keurig and very easy to clean up afterwards. Use your favourite brand of pods and enjoy. Awesome product, I will edit review if anything changes.

arrived broken, this thing is massive, i would not consider this portable. I could not see how you could use Kpods in it. It appears to be an overly complicated french press. It arrived broken so cannot comment on how well it works.

Great for off grid. Drop in a K-Cup, add boiling water, and slowly press down. The slower you press, the stronger your cup-o-joe. Rinses clean while I am off grid, gets tossed in the top rack of the dishwasher when I get home. Base is extra wide, so it fits on top of most coffee cups, even my double walled aluminum camp mugs. Light weight, so it doesn't add much weight to the pack/kit, BUT - K-Cups and this press do take up more space than a 1Lb of grounds and a SS filter. So if you are tight on space, you may stick with cowboy coffee or a pour-over filter.

I have had a number of Keurig or Keurig-like coffee makers in the last 10 years. They have these two significant issues. First, you have to descale them often, especially if your water is hard. Second, eventually, they quit pumping water, and the coffee maker is thrown away. This is my second one of these. I went back to it because I already have a kettle for its multiple-purpose uses. It heats up fast, and then I can make my cup of coffee. It takes only seconds to make a perfect cup.The Coffee Maker Press can be washed daily in the dishwasher or rinsed and reused. It is plastic, and I would have preferred to buy a stainless steel version, but could not find one like this. Hopefully, this company or another will make one in the future with replaceable silicone rings so that it never has to end up in the landfill. Two notes on best practices. First, always level an air gap between the hot water and the end of the plunger. This helps ensure that you do not burn yourself. Next, push the plunger down in a slow even fashion . . . by slow, take five to ten seconds instead of two. And third, remove the water tower and plunger from the base before pulling the plunger back out. Pulling the plunger out when it is still on the base can suck the grounds back up into the water tower, which is not a huge problem, just messy.Enjoy. Great product.
