My son is new to playing the saxophone and I will say these last a bit longer than the wood ones; and he finds them to be significantly easier to use… he’s 11 and just joined band this year… I’m sure as he becomes more proficient with the instrument he will turn to the wooden ones

Bought this for my child who is in the marching band. We previously use the Juno brand which is the wood type and buys it at our local music store. We needed a backup reed so we decided to try this one and to our surprise, it actually sounded really good.

Two of the reeds were blemished, but not enough to be unplayable. They’re decent enough to test out the waters if you are trying to switch to synthetic reeds without breaking the bank on a more recognizable brand.

I am sooo glad i decided to give these plastic reeds a shot!! I was using the traditional wooden reeds...this plastic one, not only offers a flawless sound, its so convenient not to ever worry about a dry reed again!!! Minimizes squeaking as well (again without the issue of ever drying out)For the price...TRY IT!!!!
