Product Description

Plastisol Ink Remover or Cleaner / Plastisol Screen Wash is the solution for cleaning ink screens. You can use it at the sink specifically designed to dissolve Plastisol and UV ink. Ready to use, this product is safe for use with capillary stencils and emulsions.

The Ink Degrader can also be used in continuous recycling until the product is heavily soiled with solids and waste ink. The used product can then be filtered and reused. Be sure to check with your local sanitation area regarding restrictions on ink residue that can be washed into the sanitation system and the type of filtration required.

HOW to USE

  1. Spray or pour a small amount of ink cleaner onto the screen.
  2. Grab a blue shop towel or rag of choice. Scrub both sides of the screen, re-applying Ink cleaner/degrader as needed until the screen is clean. Should always be rinsed with water.
  3. If you plan on cataloging or reusing the screen, you can rinse both sides of the screen clean of any residue with pressured water. This will also help to remove more of the pigment that can become lodged in the knuckles of the mesh causing it to stain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: I left ink on my screen by mistake, and now it's dried. Does this work to remove it?

Question: What if I use water-based ink?

Answer: Plastisol ink degrades quickly with this ink degrader. It would not be used for water-based ink since it washes out with water.

Question: Does this one need to be used with the degreaser and emulsion remover ones? For what part of the process is it used?

Answer: Reclaiming the screens is a step-by-step process.

  1. Remove ink first with Plastisol remover.
  2. Then remove emulsion.
  3. Clean the surface with a degreaser before applying a new emulsion.
  4. You can get dip tanks to soak your screens before cleaning by following steps 1-2.

Dissolves Plastisol (FN Ink) easily off all my screen printing tools. A couple of sprays and wipe down with paper towels, no signs of ink. Will be buying more

This product is a must have for plastisol inks. I only wish I realized that at the same time I bought the ink. It worked well even though my ink had been dry on my screen for a week. Don't make my mistake have it before screening your shirts.

I used a degreaser for my screens by another brand and it only smeared everywhere making the screens worse. I ordered the degreaser and this stuff at the same time but since the degreaser came first I went ahead and used it but it was a disaster. This stuff came in yesterday and boy when I say this is magic in a bottle, I am not lying. My screens instantly cleared up. I used it on my wood frame screens and it even got the dry ink from off of the wood. The inly thing I dislike is having to pay for shipping.
