This plastic safety chain works well as a visual barrier across the dock doors in our warehouse. The visual barrier is not meant to keep a person or object from going through the dock doors. The visual barrier is meant to alert people and keep them from proceeding through a potentially dangerous area. This plastic safety chain works perfectly for that purpose. This plastic safety chain would also work well to rope off areas where guests are not allowed during events. This plastic safety chain features fairly thin links that are not meant to support any load or weight but they work perfectly for their intended purpose. The included S hooks are a nice addition that make this safety chain usable for a variety of purposes where the chains must be hooked or hung from other hardware or structures.

This chain works great for setting up quick pedestrian barriers at events. I've ordered several brands in the past, and this chain is good quality, the S hooks are a nice bonus.
