I ordered resin reeds for a tenor saxophone, but they sent reeds for alto. Nevertheless, I played these on my alto, and found them difficult to produce an embouchure capable of a consistently clear sound. But I’m very much a beginner. But I can do fairly decent with wooden reeds. Part of the reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the wrong size was sent so I don’t know how the correct size will sound, and the other part is that it was too difficult for a beginner such as myself to produce a consistent sound, which I can do with wooden reeds and another resin alto reed I recently purchased on Amazon. But if these were tenor reeds and still as difficult to play as the alto ones they sent, I’d give it a 1 star.
