This was something I've been thinking about getting for a long time. I happened to see it and something else to go with it the same day and that told me it was time to do it. I haven't given it hard use yet, but it feels sturdy, parts are well made and the only thing you have to do is put the top part on if you want to use it.I tried it out with one of those sits on the monitor web cameras and it works perfectly. It screws on and you can adjust it to almost any angle you want. You could use it like a video camera on a full sized tripod in the right location.The other use I had for it was for a ring light to illuminate me for Zoom and other calls. I usually work in a dark room by preference and that way I don't have to go back and forth turning lights on and off that don't illuminate me well because of placement. This tripod works perfectly for it.If I needed another one, I'll happily by another of the same item.

Does it's job and does it well, great construction and build quality. Really nice hand feel, lightweight and sturdy, been using this for our trial camera and it's been a pleasure. Would recommend to anyone looking for a small lightweight tripod.

Initial thoughts:It feels well made and strong. The ball head rotates and moves up and down. And it was able to hold my cannon DSLR without issueThe good:As I said it was able to hold my DSLR, I just had to since down the adjuster bolt to keep it from sinking.The leg spread is ok. And the height is good.The bad:The top ball adjuster seems to be of lower quality compared to the tripod itself, and the tripod and ball head are separate pieces.Final say:All in all, it seems really good and not bad at all for the price. It folds down small enough to fit in my camera bag and will do the job.As we photographers know, you can never have enough tripods and this one works well for my needs. I am glad I got it and I think you will be too, hence the 5 stars rating.

I intend to use this to hold a light for product photos, see pic 2. It works great!This little tripod has a very nice, premium feel to it. The legs fold out smoothly, and the plastic feels substantial. For the current price of $16.99, I'm very impressed. I have another small tripod that I purchased from a thrift store and it feels very flimsy and easily tips over. Because of the stability and build quality, I think this will have a permanent home on my table. If you're looking for a basic yet reliable mini-tripod, I think you'll be happy with this one.

Mostly plastic mini tripod is a good size to carry in the field to support lights I use for nocturnal insect surveys. The ball head is not very impressive, as it sounds like grating metal when you rotate it 360° with the screw loose. Still, you can't really beat the price.

That fun little ball mount on top of a tripod is what I needed, but the tripod here is of decent size and strength for me to attach a long handle to it... in a low wind, or no wind scenario! But I can put a little action camera up in the air to get great overviews of an area, while shooting video with another action camera on a normal sized tripod because of this little ball mount.My action cameras are a little loose when tightened down on some of my quick release plates, but THIS ball mount has that screw to tighten all the way up to the pull the camera tightly down... no fuss, no worries!Again, the ball mount alone was fantastic, but the little tripod is strong and sturdy... oh, I do use a safety strap to protect my camera if I put it high up in the air, so the pole mount doesn't fall over!Five Stars!

This tripod is thick and sturdy. It's made of tough plastic and can handle rough use. I use it for my phone and GoPro. It could take a decent-sized DSLR as well. Good product.

Nice little desktop tripod. Legs are similar to the Manfrotto Desktop tripod. The little ball Head is the only thing I am not crazy about, since it easily twists off and is not very secure, but should be ok for a action cam or point and shoot.
