This helmet looked really cute on my dog, however that's about as far as I'll go in praising this product. Her head is the right size and it does fit, but it slides all over the place which defeats our purpose for getting it, to take our Sadie Mae with us when we go bike riding. It just slips around too much to be of any real value. It is rigid and has padding inside it but, because it doesn't stay in place it fails to provide the protection we we’re looking for, your experience may vary. She did tolerate it without an issue. The helmet it just would not stay in place. I really could see no benefit to having my dog wear this helmet. I was hoping for a lot more out of this product. Perhaps they can redesign it in a way that would mold better to the dog's head and still provide protection. The straps were comfortable and were well placed but I would not buy this product again.Takeaway: Not Recommended – Just doesn’t provide the protection we we’re looking for

This little dog helmet is very cute. It fits my dog well and stays on her head. I like that it has ear holes. It is very durable and has an adjustable strap. It will definitely keep my dogs head safe and it makes me smile. I am happy with this purchase.

Worked well for our goat, the previous owner had removed his horns and would sometimes bleeding from playing with the other males. The padding on the inside helps make it comfortable. Obviously I made a few adjustments due to using it for an alternate use. But I did put it on our Shiba Inu/Lab mix, it was a little small but served it's purpose. Good value and love that it keeps our pets safe!

Well made, measurements as described. Perfect fit for our dogs' ear distance. I thought I might need to modify with some additional foam, as it was sliding down in front of her eyes. However, once the dog goggles are on her, it really is a perfect fit all around. The strap is adjustable, and she doesn't even seem to mind it too much! It is also pretty darn cute!

This is so worth the price. I got this for my doxie so when I'm on my electric scooter he has protection too, but also this looks so cute in him. The ear holes are the right size and it stays put. My doxie was trying to get it off b him but it didn't budget. It had the soft cushion underneath so it's soft on his head. My doxie is 23 lbs. and the small size fit perfectly.

I ordered this helmet not because it is cute (it is, though, isn’t it!?). It is really for the safety of my blind dog who runs everywhere she goes (and bumps her head A LOT!)We’ve tried halos, but this dog happens to run in a lot of circles and that causes the halo to tilt to one side and doesn’t provide the greatest protection. I saw the helmet and realized that it wouldn’t slip to the side and might actually help her.I’m not sure about the size chart… for starters, she doesn’t really sit still much so my measurements are always pretty imprecise. The measurements that I gathered didn’t quite seem to correspond to one single size so in the end I used my judgment and made a guess. I guessed right though, so that worked out fine.The helmet has a little Velcro strap that goes under the chin and as you can see there are cutouts for the ears. There is thick foam padding inside - I tried to show the “squishability” of it in my photos.My dog has never needed to wear any type of hat before and she doesn’t like it. I didn’t want to pull the Velcro too tight and she was able to get out of the hat. I tried looping the strap through her collar but she still escaped (not sure how). I also notice that the foam ends about 0.75” away from where the brim starts and I think her head is making contact with the plastic. To remedy those issues, I’m going to try to add some padding between where the built-in padding ends and the brim. I may also try to wrap the strap in something that is cushioned.The helmet is definitely going to help once I can find a way to make it more secure on her head. The last photo shows that the helmet already has several scratches in it - it didn’t come like that - that was the result of her bumping into things in the brief time she was wearing it. So making sure that this is extra comfortable and stays in place on her head is going to be a priority for me.If the padding had come farther forward and if the strap had some cushioning, I would have given five stars, but the bottom line is that I think this is going to save her many bumps on her head. Once I get it figured out, I’ll update my review to show what I did and how it looks on her.
