Contrasting colored materials are mixed together to form a uniform color to indicate thorough mixing. The resulting cured adhesive can be drilled, sanded, threaded or filed and is resistant to fuels and most solvents after full cure.

Fuel tank cost is over $1k for the tank on a 2010 outlander. I have budgeted under $50 to repair leaks or the car is scrap. Runs perfect with 100k miles but it isn’t worth a new tank. Tried this and it’s a total failure. Cleaned tank and wire brushed surface and then tried kneading it to a consistent color and it’s just too hard to even try. Amazon wants it back but it smells like fuel. I suspect it’s old product. Will try something else but came here to say…DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT.

This dosent hold up to gasoline at all. Mixed product well and applied to clean and dry surface, allowed to cure several days. Once cured product was rock hard, however after minimal contact with gas it became soft and started to sweat the gas out. Initially I thought I did something wrong so I mixed more into a little ball and allowed it to cure and dipped it in gas after a few minutes it began to soften almost rubbery. Nope this will not work for anything fuel related.

It has troubles hardening if it's in direct contact with gasoline, took around 48 hours to fully cure so plan ahead if you need to use your car, also I had other leak in a part made of plastic, it was completely useless there, it even says that on the package so if you plan on using it on plastic better look for something else

I didn't find this out until I received this, but it is not for plastic (poly blah blah) tanks.I'm sure it's a great product, but only for metal tanks. Unfortunately I needed it for a plastic tank so wasted my money.

This stuff actually works. Adhered to tank wet with gas. Fixed leak where gas filler tube attached to gas tank. Didn't have to empty the tank to fix. Great stuff!!
