Make sure you know what you're getting yourself into, these are really thing, fine strips. They're great for detail work, and it's a good idea to have the black on hand to really highlight edges of your artwork. My son is currently using these to outline some details on the eyes and nose of a little yorkie quilling project, and it's darling!

At 1.5mm wide, this can be tricky to work with for a beginner. But it is good quality and sticks well so can make some very nice projects – at this thickness it is useful for cards which need to be posted.

These 1.5 mm red paper quilling strips are quite thin. They are just as described. The color is very nice.
