It was a gift. Recipient loved them. They came well packaged to protect them, but the box provided no literature or paperwork about the bowls. Recipient asked me if the bowls were microwave/dishwasher safe. I said yes (because that's what the site said on Amazon.) It would have been nice to have some kind of written confirmation of this for the recipient.

I was looking forward to the 4 different bowl colors, so I'm knocking stars off.I was so disappointed I'm taking 2 stars off.They seem sturdy, good size. Kind of shabby chic.
