This is a good 12-pack trains building block set, and it is individually packed with instruction sheets. From the web site pictures, they appear very big, but actually they are tiny, and it is not very easy to assemble. My son brought Lego car building blocks for 4 years old, which are much larger than these building blocks for ages 6-12+. My grandkids, 3 and 4 years old, have already learnt how to assemble the Lego car blocks following the instruction sheets by themselves, but these smaller train blocks are still a challenge for them.

These are so cute and a great value to use as a party favor. We love building blocks and trains so we kept them for ourselves and put them all together to make our own train.

It works for favors, fun, value for the money but pieces are too small so for me is safety hazard.

I have had legos around since I was a kid, and then cousins and now my kids. I assumed that this would be basic enough for me to do. Apparently these are not the normal lego pieces because they are much smaller, and they are different shapes to make the patterns work. This is something that the kids loved! I struggled and felt about 800 years old getting out the magnifying glass and then told the kids to turn down the music so I could see the pieces better. They are small but really well made because they line up with each other without much trouble and put up with a lot of crashing. The kids were building them, tearing them apart and doing it again. They raced and traded and then combined the pieces. I nearly finished building mine now. But these were a great surprise for them, and all things considered it was fun even though I was the one they laughed at the most. There was hours of fun and something to save and remind them of the fun. My husband is still playing with the set he got, and he keeps it next to the bed too.

We used these mini train building sets for birthday party favors and they were a huge hit! The fact that each train was individually wrapped made them so easy to hand out and kept everything organized. Parents appreciated how neat and mess free they were and the kids were so excited to open their own little surprise. We also loved that each train section came with its’ own instructions and offered two different ways to build it. This added an extra layer of fun and creativity, keeping the kids entertained long after the party was over. The trains were colorful, well made and just the right size for kids handle.Overall, these sets were perfect for party favors and even worked well as goodie bag fillers. They’re a great mix of fun and educational and we’ll definitely be buying them again for future events! Highly recommend!

These train block sets are cute, and fun for the kids to work on. I used a couple as stocking stuffers and plan to throw a couple in my purse for distractions at the next doctor appointment for my busy littles. The instructions are not with each build so I had to discern which went with which - and it wasn’t too hard since they were labeled. They are rather small, don’t come with a rail, and are easy simple builds.

I've been using little buildable brick sets like these for a while now whenever I do an event where kids will be present. I set up a table with several packs of these little sets, and I assign a person or two to run that table. And then we invite all the kids over to pick a set and build it. And they absolutely love it. These little sets are super fun, because what kid doesn't love trains? And once the kids are done assembling their set, they now have a fun little toy, and are seated at a table with a bunch of other kids with toys, so they start playing. That keeps them occupied so the adults can hang out and have a good time without the kids getting bored or causing trouble. For the price, these little sets are absolutely worth it. The bricks fit up nicely, and the instructions are very easy to follow. They're well illustrated with good contrast, so it's easy to see how pieces fit. And they keep kids entertained. Even if you're not putting on events professionally, the price on these makes it very affordable even just for a family reunion or something like that. I've even used them at a wedding, and I got so many positive comments from the parents about how the wedding was so much more fun and they're glad their kids had something to do to keep them from whining. Overall, these are just fun little sets, and I'll admit, I even built a couple of them myself, because you know what? I like trains too!

This is a nice "entertraining" set with an assortment of 12 trains. They are accompanied by 12 individual instructions. The trains and individually wrapped. We used them for good bags for birthday and it was a hot favorite of the kids! Sort of similar to hotwheel cars but these are better since the kids get to build them using the instructions provided. The novelty may be lost after a few uses though because the kids may become bored after they built it a few times. There isn't much you can do after that.
